I had the pleasure of visiting Beach Bar Roulis during my recent vacation to Rethymnon, and it was an experience that surpassed all expectations. Right from the moment we set foot in this idyllic paradise, we felt welcomed and at ease, thanks to the incredibly friendly and attentive staff.

The food was nothing short of divine. We indulged in an array of local dishes and fresh seafood, each plate artfully presented and bursting with flavor. Whether you opt for a classic Greek salad or something more adventurous, you're in for a culinary treat. The drinks menu is equally impressive, with a variety of cocktails that are both delicious and Instagram-worthy.

Comfort is clearly a priority at Beach Bar Roulis. The sunbeds are well-maintained and extremely comfortable, offering the perfect spot to relax and soak up the Mediterranean sun. I especially appreciated how clean and well-kept the entire area was. The staff made regular rounds to ensure that everything was in tip-top condition, which only added to the feeling of luxury and well-being.

A standout feature was definitely the cleanliness of the establishment. From the polished bar area to the spotless restrooms, it was clear that the management puts a high priority on hygiene and comfort.

We used this beach almost everyday whilst in Crete. We chose it because of the fantastic cafe /bar /restaurant. The staff were welcoming. The loungers were €6 per day for both of us, including a parasol 2 bottles of water and an afternoon snack of fresh watermelon! You only had to beckon and you got waiter service at your lounger! The beers were €5 and there were half litre bottles of retsina at only €3.50. We had lunch each day, including club sandwiches, and fresh calamari. The salads were huge - easily serving two. We can't beach for dinner one night and watched the sun set while eating grilled fish. Then chilled in the beach bar...

The atmosphere and location are fabulous, with access to a beautiful sandy beach. The restaurant has toilets and changing rooms too, which was useful. The place gets a little busy, so I recommend booking. Workers are very friendly and like to have a laugh with customers, which brings a warm atmosphere to the place. Food itself was really good, we all had burgers and they were amazing. One small issue was that we ordered 3 starters and 6 mains, and the starters came a while after the mains, which was unusual - we were waiting for a good amount of time for the food.
