Wood Fire Pizza, Beyond Words! During our unforgettable trip to Rethymno, Crete, we stumbled upon a hidden gem that satisfied our culinary cravings and left us with a heartwarming story to cherish forever. Our adventure began on our first night, which took an unexpected turn due to a malfunctioning air conditioner. Little did we know, this mishap would lead us to one of the most kind-hearted and empathetic individuals we’ve ever met – Kadir Gjozi. Kadir, a remarkable chef, came to our rescue with genuine warmth and concern, going above and beyond what anyone could have expected. To our surprise, we discovered that this wonderful man worked at a local restaurant called Remember Pizza. Eager to thank him and experience his culinary talents, we visited Remember Pizza. The moment we walked in, we were embraced by the owner, Nektario, who was warm and welcoming, and an atmosphere that felt like home. The restaurant's ambiance was inviting, filled with the aroma of freshly baked pizza and the buzz of happy diners. The entire staff, including Nektario the owner, radiated friendliness and hospitality, making us feel like part of the family. Kadir’s pizza was extraordinary. The dough was the best we had ever tasted – perfectly crisp on the outside, yet wonderfully soft and chewy on the inside. Each bite was a testament to Kadir's skill and passion for his craft, made even more special by the love and care he put into every pizza. It wasn’t just food; it was an experience, a story told through flavors and textures. Remember Pizza is more than just a restaurant; it’s a place where kindness, dedication, and culinary excellence come together to create something truly special. Kadir Gjozi, with his incredible empathy and unmatched culinary talent, is a gem. Who knew that a stressful situation over an air conditioner would turn into having a dear friend for life? If you ever find yourself in Rethymno, Crete, make sure to visit Remember Pizza. It comes highly recommended not just for the outstanding food, but for the unforgettable experience and the remarkable people who make it all...
Read moreSince the waitress was so arrogant and unfriendly, I‘m giving the restaurant just a star. If i could, I wouldn‘t even give one. So my husband ordered a pizza and wanted some ketchup, she was passing by and I said „Sorry“ and she turned around and arrogantly said „Give me a minute“ as I was like disturbing her all the time. I noticed already that the team was stressed because of obviously something else, but nevertheless that wasn‘t the way to treat other people like that. My father owned a restaurant I was working there , although we were so stressed sometimes that we screamed at each other in the team, we never let the customers notice that we are stressed and especially we were never unfriendly or arrogant to our guests. It‘s sad to say it ruined my night, because I really try to respect and help the waiters because I know how hard this job can...

The pizza was exceptional, quite possibly, one of the best pizzas I've ever eaten, (I doubt it's the best in Europe, but it's very very good). We went with the mixed grill and it was astounding, it's a shame we didn't have time to...
