The beach is very good although the water was too hot in August. Amande bar is not worth it. We tried to give it many chances to recover the initial disappointment, but it failed every step: a. They told us to seat anywhere we wanted. 20 minutes later they moved us, cause presumably someone had paid for the sunbeds they told us to use. They moved us and despite the initial discomfort, we were ok with that. b. Then we tried to order and the waitress didn’t want to take any order cause she was “too busy” getting paid for the sunbeds at the time (at 13:00..). These were her exact words!! c. 15 min later she was delivering cocktails next to us and when I asked her to order she reluctantly came over. We got a coffee and a canned lemonade 35 minutes later!! d. we then asked for a large fruit salad and specifically pointed to the very-good-looking fruit salad of the people next to us. That one was served on a platter with cutlery. What we got, was a crappy salad in a paper box and no cutlery. We had to walk back to the bar to get cutlery cause the waitress was too busy. Overall, very bad service, probably discriminating customers (locals vs tourists maybe, otherwise At any case never really understood why we were moved and then served worse food than others and also got the attitude. Spending >100euro for sunbeds, coffees and salads should be enough reason to be fair treated. Every step of the way was disappointing. At the end of the day, we were there to enjoy and pay for what we order. Anyways, there are many bars around. Go somewhere else that the money is worth to be spent and it’s not pretentious.

Best beach experience I have had in Greece! This place is magical. I was walking along Tsambika beach looking for a sunlounger — there are a few restaurants along the strip. The other places seemed quite busy and I was unsure of how it all worked. As I continued to curiously walk down the strip, I was greeted by a lovely welcoming gentleman who invited me to Amande. He was very kind and friendly and guided me to a first row sun lounger. He explained that his colleague would come over to take my order. In a timely manner, said colleague came over and provided such a wonderful service. The vibes were immaculate, the iced cappuccino was delicious and the service was TOP TIER. They both really made me feel so welcomed and they were very attentive, which is why the place stood out to me so much. Hence why I came back again on my last day! I highly recommend this place and can’t wait to come back. [I didn’t catch the names sadly. The waiter was Greek and Dutch and the host has bun hairstyle. I wanna make sure they get credit as they were really excellent]

Amande Spa As two professionals on holiday, we were searching for the perfect place to unwind, and Amande Spa delivered beyond our expectations. Our experience began with the serene sound of beach club beats playing at the perfect volume, while a gentle breeze flowed through the wooden frame curtain structure on the beachfront. It was an ideal setting for relaxation. From the start, Vera, the manager, made us feel incredibly welcome. Her attention to detail and excellent communication ensured we were both super comfortable throughout our visit. She genuinely cared about our experience, which made a significant difference. Our couples massage was nothing short of fantastic. Afroditi, one of the masseuses, had a firm and skilled technique, especially around the shoulder blades. She frequently checked in to ensure the pressure was just right, providing a tailored and effective massage. Maria, the other masseuse, was

Disappointing Experience - Terrible Service

I recently visited this beach bar, and while the atmosphere and decoration were quite nice, everything else was a complete letdown. The service was absolutely atrocious.

First of all, we had to wait for over 30 minutes just to find someone to take our order. When we finally managed to ask a staff member about ordering coffee, she laughed and walked away! After an additional 15 minutes of waiting, another employee finally showed up. When we asked for coffee (it was only 4 PM), he responded with a sarcastic and unprofessional remark, saying it was "Sir, it is very difficult to make coffee for you now, because of the time" and then he left!

In Greece, it's common knowledge that people drink coffee all day, especially at beach bars, so this kind of behavior was completely unacceptable. To make matters worse, the couple who sat at our table before us even warned us about how terrible the service was.

In a place where competition is so high, with plenty of other options offering better quality and service, it's shocking that this establishment thinks it can get away with such poor treatment of its customers. It seems like they only care about serving you if you're planning to spend hundreds of euros. The ironic and dismissive attitude of the staff is simply unacceptable.

This place might look appealing, but don't be fooled. The service was so bad that it completely ruined our experience. I won't be coming back, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing time at the beach. The only star is for the decoration.. Very disappointing seeing that the service quality in your place of origin is worse and...
