Monamo Beach Bar Restaurant — Restaurant in Municipality of Rhodes

Warning ⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️ We sat down to eat today and ordered a chicken burger dish for my wife who is allergic to eggs, we asked for the dish without any sauces at all, the dish came with all the sauces we asked to replace the dish with. They took the dish and tried to clean the mayonnaise in such a way that we wouldn't know, even though we explained that it was an allergy and life-threatening problem. The dish came back with mayonnaise marks on the sides of the chicken burger. I told them again that I wanted to change the dish. They took it again and again returned the same dirty dish, this time thrown not alone on a plate with a bun on the side. The rude restaurant manager came and demanded that I pay for the dish, which is my problem that I returned it and he doesn't care if my wife gets hurt because of the allergy, he insisted and demanded that I pay him and the waiter added and said that if I don't pay he will have to pay from his own money, Of course I paid because I was afraid to get involved with them because he was really angry with me. I do not recommend going there under any circumstances since it seems to be systematic with them because one table next to us had exactly the same thing happen only this time with onions in the dish. Lovely beach less...

Nice beach, but the owner cares more about your money than your experience.

Tsampika beach is one of the nicest sandy beaches in Rhodes. The sunbeds are comfortable and well maintained, much better than at other beaches. However, the pricing is excessive – €25 for a standard set and €30 if you want to be closer to the water.

While the staff on the ground are friendly and do their best, it’s obvious they are overwhelmed and understaffed. There was just one waiter responsible for taking orders and serving the entire area. He rushed to take our €30 payment for the sunbeds immediately upon our arrival – helped by another staff member who was directing him to new arrivals – but we waited over 40 minutes before giving up and walking to the café ourselves just to place an order.

A nice beach ruined by one more owner on the island who is more interested in profit by overcharging you than providing...

Well, the staff one day is good, one day is terrible. A bit rude and demand tipping. The food was average but this is more of a beach bar than restaurant, so all good. A bit overpriced but with service right on the sunbeds. You can make a reservation for the sunbeds/umbrellas. On Sunday they wanted us to pay more, but after we stated we were not let know of this practice In advance the waiter agree on Saturdays prices - 20euro for 3rd line for the set. Best beach I have been in Greece the bay offers all.First row 30, FYI. Lunch for 2 kids 2 adults we payed 80 euro. Floating Aquapark was nice, 15e for 2 hrs per child, massages and windsurfing additionally as well as boat/jet rents avaliable.
