My girlfriend and I had drinks from Ramal at Tsambika. Let me start by saying, the servers for the beach are great. This is specifically in regards to the bar in the restaurant.
When we finished, we wanted to take a taxi back to our hotel, but had no service to call it. We did not know Uber was illegal here. She politely asked one of the bartenders if she could assist in helping us call it. The bartender laughed, started speaking to her colleague bartender in Greek and then told her to “call our hotel for help” and then walked away - (if I was able to do that, why would I even need to talk you?)
Teach your staff respect and competence. When a tourist comes seeking assistance, rather than bully them, show some compassion and try to help. You’re on an island that survives purely on tourism. Treat visitors with more respect. I regret buying drinks from your establishment with the way your bartenders act. Next time I visit Tsambika, I’ll be bringing my own drinks...
Read morePlace looks lovely, and started off great. Ordered a vegan tortilla and after beginning eating it found chicken in the wrap. When raising this to a waiter was just told it isn’t meant to be there and should just be vegetables so was just a mistake of cross over in the kitchen of adding a few pieces of meat to the vegan meal. Whilst I appreciate this was an accident, this was not resolved as I got no apology, acknowledgement of the level of mistake, no replacement and paid for the full meal. When raising this to the waiter I was left feeling embarrassed for raising it as an issue as it was seen as no big deal. I haven’t eaten meat in 11 years so was disappointed and honestly upset by this experience. I recognise we should’ve pushed further for a response at the time but I was shocked and upset by this and wanted to leave, so am leaving a review to make sure others check their food before eating. My partner enjoyed his meal, however this ruined the...
Read moreRudest experience I’ve encountered in rhodos. I went up to the bar and wanted to talk to someone working, everyone was ignoring me. When finally acknowledged I was greeted with a hand gesture and a dirty look that can only be described by “what do you want”
After this I asked the girl how I can get a taxi back to Rhodes town to which she laughed in my face and said no. I asked her if they come or if it was possible for them to call one for me and she laughed again, said something in Greek to her friend, and then said “no ask your hotel.”
Totally understand if that is not something they offer, but it was so rude and made me not want to visit again. Gross behaviour. Wouldn’t recommend any tourist to interact with the beach bar. Spend your money elsewhere where you can get friendly service.
