Crete Souvlaki — Restaurant in Municipality of Rhodes

Stopped by here for some lunch. Prices are really reasonable and the portions are very generous.

We ordered the Chicken Souvlaki with the Rhodian wrap (really nice!), one standard size and one XXL. The meal was very tasty but maybe just a bit too much tzatziki, which overpowered the flavour of the chicken.

Simple fast food restaurant. I order a ‘kebab’, but am served what appears to be a pre-shaped skewer of minced meat. I was expecting something completely different, because in Crete and in Germany, grilled meat from a rotating spit is called kebab. Personally, I didn't like it, especially as there are many better restaurants and barbecues in the area.

Best pita in Rhodes and super friendly people, lovely vibe in this village with lots of locals. You can choose the type of pita and they have a XXL option that’s SO generous. My favorite is the souvlaki with cyprian pita. So much Zaziki too, I wish I could eat this every day. The reviews saying it’s loud and there are cars passing……… yes there are cars passing, it’s by a street? Should they do a collab w/ police and close the street...
