Mon Ami Restaurant — Restaurant in Municipality of Rhodes

Really delicious food and very friendly owner/chef. It’s a one man band with his possible son helping him with the cooking as well so do note that it takes time for him to cook as he cooks once you order. We had the pork stew and moussaka and both were delicious. As we were waiting we kept seeing some locals getting roast chicken takeouts and I was so tempted to order more food though we would definitely be overeating if we do so…. We ordered 0.5L of wine too and when we finished the owner brought some desserts and ouzo on the house! Will definitely come back to this amazing restaurant...

Best food in Archangelos! We tried every restaurant, but Mon Ami was by far the best! The food is authentic, well seasoned and sooo yummy! Calamari, Gyros, Moussaka, Stifado, everything was so good. The owner himself is a reason to come back, he speaks fluent english and german and you can have a really good chat, especially after some Ouzos :D My tip: Drink Pils Hellas, Mon ami is the only one...

Thoroughly recommend this place if you're visiting Archangelos! We ate here 3 times during our holiday and absolutely loved it. The food was delicious and reasonably priced (if you want the roast chicken you'd better come early as it sells out fast!) and the owner was friendly and chatty and even gave us free glasses of ouzo at the end of the meal!
