La Piazza Restaurant - Pizzeria — Restaurant in Municipality of Rhodes

I have to give this 5 star everything. Was amazing, the owner is the kindest owner of any shop I have ever met, I first met him when I was 3 months old… I am now 15 years old, and he still remembers me, he likes me so much that he gave me and my stepsister a dessert of 1 ice cream each and a massive brownie to share and this kind wonderful woman said it’s on the house. The owner even said before hand that he was gonna make a special something for us too and he even gave me an extra large pizza which I can’t get over enough, it’s literally the best pizza I have ever had in my life and i’m not even exaggerating. This proves loyalty can get you better rewards like a free dessert, and also you can pick chillis the owner grows in his garden to the left when you enter and you can pick a reasonable amount. Absolutely horrible. DO NOT EAT HERE. Bread is stale, no drinks available that were on the menu and the main courses were horrendous. Spaghetti Bol was straight from the microwave mince was stringy and the pasta was not heated or cooked throughout. The carbonara was even worse… sauce was made with something that was out of date as a few mouthfuls in I was in the toilet throwing it back up it smelt like off milk. We raised the issues and said we were fine paying for out drinks and the starters but the pasta we would like reconsidered as it physically made us I’ll within seconds. The staff surrounded us pushing my partner and threatening the police. AVOID AT ALL COSTS !!!!!!!!!!!!! After hearing rave reviews of the pasta and pizza dishes served here we thought we should pay it a visit and we were not disappointed in anyway. It was very busy and apon being seating the waitress informed us that there would be a little wait in taking our order which was only a few minutes which gave us time to view the menu and try to decide what to have as it all sounded so delicious. My wife a creamy chicken pasta dish which was very tasty. Our son had a pepperoni small pizza (8 slices) which was very spicy, yet easy to eat and fully enjoyed. I had Carbonara which again tasted great and three empty plates at the end is always a good sign.
