Red Dragon Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Municipality of Rhodes

We went there yesterday (24/05/25)during busy hour and it was better than expected!

Environment : clean, nothing old or falling apart. Kitchen (visible, when you go to sit in the garden area) was clean with clean counters !!!

Food : I visit many Chinese restaurants in Greek tourist areas and know the telltale signs of good or bad. Therefore I always test by ordering certain products.

Salad (mango) was fresh, crispy, excellent and big portion. Not over-seasoned nor bland. Very good sauce, not goopy or thin. Rice-crackers. Fried perfectly, fluffy not too oiled or dry or old. Special fried rice. Fluffy, light, well seasoned and rich in ingredients. Bravo. -Satay Beef. The best I have had on Rhodes. It was very aromatic and with fresh ingredients, nothing soggy or bland. -Chicken honey (pineapple+walnuts). Real honey not syrup like the other places. Seasoned very well and unique.

Service was fast, very friendly, very ready to help and explain. A table next us, demanded a full analysis of the dishes and they were given the analysis with good manners.(other places might have not be patient). Prices are fair for thee potions and quality.

Me and my partner decided to eat at Red Dragon last night on our last evening in Pefkos. The food was AMAZING. So much more flavour than what you get in England when you visit a Chinese. It was by far the best and tastiest meal we had on our 10 night stay. Highly recommend this place. The staff were friendly and the price is very reasonable too . Portion sizes are great, we had egg fried rice, chips, pork noodles, spare ribs, chicken balls in bbq sauce and shared between us. It’s probably the worst meal or Chinese meal I have ever tasted. I had the beef in black bean sauce. The meat was vile. The rice was unusual and a little weird, but the chips were ok. I would not listen to the other reviews here. The food was delivered with in 5 mins so the microwave was in use. A very poor excuse for a restaurant My partner had the slimey chicken which she kept on spitting out and them moaning that I choose this restaurant not funny had a bad meal and then your Mrs chewing your ear off.
