I have never previously felt the need to write a review about a restaurant, however I felt the need to share our experience. My boyfriend ordered beef stifado (more like fly-oil stifado) and couldn't eat it due to it swimming in oil. My food was fine, if you like eating flies with your food. One member of staff noticed us constantly wafting the flies away and brought over a smoke candle which resulted in the swarm of flies kamikazying into the meal. However by this point it was too late, they were in our drinks and food. Two male servers came over on separate occasions and we explained we couldn't eat or drink anything due to the flies contaminating it and was never offered any replacement drinks or food. The second waiter asked me why I hadn't touched my food, I said I couldn't because of the amount of flies that were in it and so we asked for the bill. There was nothing deducted from the bill. For your own safety please AVOID...
Read moreFriendly service and very appreciative of the guests. A delight to see they had a seperate vegan menu and was spoilt for choice on what to have. I chose moussaka which was made with lentils and aubergine. Was very tasty and topped with a vegan cheese. My husband had a mixed gyros and enjoyed it. Was a change to have half chicken and half pork, a cheeky request of him but they were happy to serve.
We ordered garlic bread and pita with hummus so it was a surprise for us to also receive a few toasted pieces of bread with some interesting dips on the house. We also finished dinner and before paying our bill the waiter came with a few pieces of cake to taste on the house. It was very delicious, like a fruit loaf with real fruit it. All in all a great experience and well worth going, whatever you eat. Gluten...
Read moreThe restaurant felt more like a fast food place then a greek tavern. All the 5 main dishes we had were served with Mcdonalnds style french fries, nothing really cooked or baked. The calamary dish was simultaneously the most expensive and the smallest that we have tried in Greece (and we had many of them).
And the worst thing is the "small burgers" dish in the kids menu. Despite the plural description, we got one patty with no bun or bread, with many strong spices inside. My daughter was very disappointed, and only took one bite. I can not imagine a kid in the world that would like it. We told the waiter that this was not what we expected, but he said that this is the kids burger and didnt show any sympathy. Bottom line: There are many restaurants that are much better in the area, this one is a bit of a...
