Mosa Beach Bar & Restaurant — Restaurant in Municipality of Rhodes

His place is both great and a little bit odd!

We went here intending on spending the afternoon and early evening to enjoy some cocktails, soak up some sun in the pool and to indulge in the tapas menu for some food.

When we first got there and had a couple of cocktails it had a great beach club style vibe and the cocktails are some of the best that I have had. The downside here is that if you go to the bar for drinks they tell you they will come over for drinks, but they come over for initial drinks and then we barely got any service for a couple of hours. We would easily have had another 3 / 4 rounds of drinks if we would have been asked.

I do need to clarify that when we first got there we had a gentleman serving us who was great, but once he had gone it went downhill and we found it hard to order drinks. Once they turned it into a restaurant vibe we didn't get offered any more drinks for ages but I think maybe that they didn't want us there at that point.

I also found the "tapas" menu very odd, don't get me wrong we had some of the food and it was delicious but it certainly isn't a tapas menu. The portions were full portions of normal food like burgers and chips (you just buy them separately at a much higher price)

Then late afternoon / early evening they closed off the pool which was a real shame as we were going to stay for a few evening drinks and enjoy a swim after the kids had all left.

Don't get me wrong this is a well decorated place, with amazing well constructed cocktails but depending ono when you go it may or may not be a beach club...

Maybe it would be best to split those just wanting food and the restaurant area in half leaving the other half for those who want drinks or to enjoy the pool? If not maybe it would be useful to make it clearer that after a certain time it's going to be...

We visited here as a family one evening while in Rhodes 2 adults 2 kids, first impression the place is stunning and nice vibe initially, but then things started to unravel waited 30 mins for the first drink, people seated after us another family, got their drinks first. I had actually went down the steps from the bar onto the beach went a walk with my son came back and still no drinks, my son was excited to show me the pool within the bar he's 8 and we were told children must be seated at all times by a rather awkward English gentleman, the other staff seemed lovely but I did not like the vibe from the English guy maybe his attitude was because we are Scottish but who knows, when trying to order a second drink we were told it would be a long wait again, although there were no ques and the place was not busy with atleast 4 bar staff and 3 waitresses 😀 so we paid the bill and left shame as we could have spent a good few hundred euros here and would have returned throughout our stay but the service was diabolical and the English guy has a severe attitude problem with no people skills whatsoever so we avoided it for the...

Spent the afternoon with friends at this great beach bar. Lots of space for a quick bite to eat or (like us) if you want to spend the afternoon with some drinks, use of their wonderful pool and direct access to the beach. There are cabanas, bar seating and sun beds, all of which are free of charge if you are having food or drinks. Lots of choice for those that want sun or if you were more keen on finding shade.

The cocktails are incredible here with an average price of around €10 - 12. I can’t describe just how great they tasted. A lot of attention. Went into the taste and how they looked. IFKYK. The food menu is really varied and offers a lot of choice from burgers to salads to Mexican. Again, the average dish is around €13 and really quality. Staff were super friendly and attentive. Couldn’t ask for more. Facilities were also really clean and tidy.

Location-wise, this bar is right next to a number of all inclusive resorts so it was never super busy the afternoon we were there but if you are looking for a change from your resort, spend some time here. We ended up here for 6hrs...
