Sergio's Old Times Restaurant — Restaurant in Municipality of Rhodes

This was almost perfect for us…a bit different to the other restaurants. Feels like a real family run affair , off the main strip. Really nice greeting by the front of house. Nice menu with some great specials and decor. Maybe we were just a bit unlucky but only ordered mains and waited over an hour for ours to arrive, by which time the table next door had arrived , been served and finished. That said I had the lamb special and it was worth the wait! To be fair the waitress noticed and came and apologised for the wait saying there was an issue with kitchen. I would say it would also be nice to see the bill before you pay, rather than after. Maybe some background music would add to atmosphere? Overall would definitely recommend, would have liked to give 5 stars but think we were just a bit unlucky...

The best food we’ve ever eaten! It’s worth coming to Gennadi just to eat in this restaurant! Popi is an incredible host and she makes everyone feel so welcome and takes time to chat and advise on menu choices and wines! I had a burger which was a 3/5 and my girl had a pasta which was 2/5. We had to wait 1 hour and a half for the food to come to our table. They didnt have any stock left to cook even though they had 3 hours left until they close. They apologised by saying it was "Their worst day".
