First the good things:
The food was delicious! The Pasta was very fresh and unique. Pizza was also very good. If it's for the food I would visit again.
I have 3* because of the service. It was really lacking. We ordered some Ravioli with different cheeses, and when I asked the waitress what cheeses were in it she couldn't answer. She just said different ones and apparently they are always different. She didn't bother to go an ask in the kitchen and she made me look like I am a weirdo for asking? (Maybe I am :D) And the second big minus was again how they dealt with a situation. We were a group of 8 and we had all received our food except my husband. When we all received our food we reminded the other waitress that a pizza is missing, she said ok. When again time has passed we reminded her again (the younger waitress), and she just said it's coming with an attitude, but it didn't! We all had finished our food and we reminded them again and that's when they started to take action. They obviously had forgotten the pizza but didn't react fast either. They just brought us another complimentary wine, but we didn't want any more wine as we had enough.
Please do something about the service. Teach your waitresses how to be more professional...
Read moreWe ate here a couple times before and loved the food. Today, we also very had good food except for the baked aubergine which was good but was two tiny pieces of auberginre with a bit of tomatoe and cheese. I hesitated to say anything but when I did, I was told by the owners daughter that she had seen the aubergine herself and felt it was generous for a starter (it cost 8 euro). She continued to defend a few other irregularites in the service which we wouldn't have otherwise brought up. When I came downstairs to pay, the owners son was discussing me with a bunch of profanities. I asked him if that was hoiw he treated customers, I was verbally attacked. Then the owner got involved, repeating simular profanities and declaring that he did not need customers like me and stated he ate in restaurants all over the world and if he didn't like it, he paid and just left. He stated I should do the same. Too bad, their food is, on the whole, quite good but nobody should talk to customers this way. This odd family doesn't deserve to be...
Read moreWe had an unusual dining experience here, the waitress who was half greek and half english seemed to question everything. She interfered a little too much for our liking. We felt interrogated and all we wanted to do was order what we wanted from the menu and we got "are you sure you like spicy things"? and "can the children manage a pizza of that size"? it did seem to affect our evening at the start, but when the food arrived it was truly delicious and we could not fault it. The tiramisu I expected to be wow wasnt as it did not even have a hint of alcohol but it looked amazing in a fancy glass. Some feedback from us would be, if we need any information we would be more than happy to ask for it. We know what we like as a family to eat and would just like to be left alone to order it as I feel you may scare...
