Tucan Pizza Βar Restaurant — Restaurant in Municipality of Sithonia

This is a Italian trattoria mixed with Greek Taverna. All good, better than expected when combining two things different by design. I would incline to say portions are huge.

Large terrace, some free parking spaces available nearby, staff is friendly and helpful. Menu contains a lot of options. Pizza is quite large but you get covered with takeaway option.

Pasta is ok, appears homemade pasta. If you know you are a slow eater, ask them to serve the pasta in a regular plate and not their special "dough shaped plate" as the sauce will get soaked into the dough and you'll get less on your pasta.

Tried Rigatoni al Pesto - coked al dente, good Pesto, I would have enjoyed a bit more sauce, hadn't it been soaked by the pizza dough.

On request they prepared a cocktail, which was fine.

There is large indoor playground area for kids: trampolines, & other gears I can't describe. For awareness entrance here is without shoes, there was a lady from staff that was watching kids, enforcing safety rules while parents were having dinner. Kids did appreciate the playground, did ask for several "extensions" of the stay.

Free dessert were provided at the end of the meal, which looked appealing visually and tasted good. Also we were offered some local hard distilled liquor (sunny melon flavor).

I did appreciate the possibility to have the bill initially split into separate families and payment accepted by card also contactless...

One of my biggest disappointment in Greece. We booked a table for 4 people and they forgot about it. Finally, we were given a small table which was so dirty. After having been waiting for half an hour to be noticed by any waiters in vain we left. Thanks for ruining our night and our holiday.

To respond to the owner's answer I have to write that we booked a week before the event in person to make sure about our reservation, since we had guests. But when we arrived they did not find our bookings at all. Finally, they placed us in the corner at a small table, however the bigger problem was that both the table and the benches were dirty and sticky. Besides, it was not easy for 4 people to sit there. That is why we asked to relocate and clean them. One of the waiters brought something to whipe the table and the benches, but we had to finish the cleaning because they were still dirty. On the photo you can see how dirty the table and the benches were that we cleaned. No, we did not leave after 10 minutes, we have been waiting for 30 minutes and because no one offered to take our drinkorder at least, so we left. I have never been treated like this in...

We took the dinner at Tucan in our last night in Neos Marmaras.Too bad we didn't try early this place, because we had our accomodation at about 300m.The place is one of the best in Neos Marmaras.

Pros: great food a lot of italian and greek dishes in the menu the service is great wating time short staff is really nice, even we had a pasta preparation demonstration done by a young chef using a torch and a parmesan cheese wheel and it was wow! in some nights they have live music and the place is full A free desert is offered They have Eza Beer prices are really affordable there is a big kids playground. Our small daughter stayed there most of the time super clean bathrooms,one of the best I've seen in Greece at a restaurant.We saw something similar once at Meteora.This place respects the customers!

Cons: nothing maybe the portions can be smaller.Pizza small is 35cm and Big is 50 cm!

On our next visit in Neos Marmaras Tucan will be our first option...
