Makis Restaurant — Restaurant in Municipality of Sithonia

I have never left a review for anything in my life but this time I have to write one. By far the worst food I have eaten in my life to a restaurant! I had a launch here with my family. No one finished their plate. First of all the glasses were very dirty with stains. My beer glass had foam and smelled like beer. Its like they brought the dirty glasses. Second of all the food was horrible. My sister had a shrimp pasta and they were not cleaned and uncooked. Not even the cat liked them. My carbonara was not good and my mother’s bolognese was literally made with supermarket tomato sauce. I can cook better pasta at home with my eyes closed. My wife finished her anchovies though they were full of oil. Service was decent. Not the best but it was ok. But if I was the waiter I would have seen the dirty glasses and wouldn’t have brought them to the table. Waiter did ask us at the end if we liked it because he saw our plates and we told him it wasnt good and he apologized. The spot is really good located and has sunbeds as well but throughout my stay in neos marmaras I never saw an empty sunbed because it was always reserved for someone. We had dinner at this restaurant and unfortunately, we were not satisfied with almost anything. The only positive aspect is the location right by the sea.

From the very beginning, we were brought a bottle of water and bread that we did not order, and they were added to the bill – we thought it was a gesture of hospitality. We ordered “grilled feta,” but what we got was just a piece of plain feta cheese in olive oil. The gyros was, without exaggeration, the worst we have had in Neos Marmaras. The souvlaki was completely burnt, to the point where we could barely eat a few bites.

In the end, when we asked to pack the leftover gyros, the waiter simply brought us empty cardboard boxes to pack it ourselves.

A very disappointing experience. Unfortunately, we will never come back, nor can we recommend...

If I could give 0 Stars, I would. I’m greek and was really exited to eat some fresh fish at this tavern, right next to the beach. First of all when you see a place that makes burger, spaghetti, pizza,meat & Fish, better run away. The service was so bad. The waiter didn’t even say 1 word, didn’t bring us any water even when asked, plates that were dirty, beer with hair and dirt which needed to get changed. The sardines were burned and half there like you see on the pic and this should cost 8€? 1€ for each sardine? Burned also, were the zucchini , some even raw.
