we went to this restaurant 2 nights ago. there was a queue but we didn't mind waiting. we got a table, and we ordered for 7 people (4 adults and 3 children). the food came in stages and even for the adults first. we waited for everyone to come but it didn't come for our 7 year old son. we asked how long it would take and we were told 4 minutes. after 10 minutes we were told another 1 minute. we waited another 5 minutes and we still had to go and ask, and surprise: they had run out of chicken nuggets, this after we were told it was being prepared. we all had food except the youngest child. we asked for an explanation and the waiter said that there were many customers and that we could see this too. he almost yelled at us, without any apology for waiting so long and that they lied that it was being prepared when in fact they didn't have any. in the end we got something else but no reaction from them. the food was good, the prices ok, but the service is pathetic because they have many customers and they can afford it. conclusion: if you are lucky it will be good, if you are unlucky you may not have a good evening. apologies are foreign to this restaurant. we all make mistakes, but they did not show any compassion or regret for their customers. maybe if they did not have so many customers they would behave differently. decide for yourself if you want a good dinner based on luck. I do not recommend the restaurant because of the...
Read moreThe tavern is very busy (though I’m not sure why), and because of this, the staff seem stressed and rushed. They don’t get a break, which makes them nervous and impatient with customers.
There are tables for big groups. If you are a couple good luck :).
The food is not impressive. The portion sizes are okay, but other taverns — like Orestis — prepare dishes like sea bream and fried zucchini much better. We even suspect that the sea bream was not properly refrigerated. My wife got scombroid poisoning, which happens when fish isn’t stored correctly and builds up too much histamine. Vomiting and headache are some of the light allergenic reactions, and they started a little after we had dinner there. But since I don’t have any proof for this, that is why I say suspect.

We even suspect that the sea bream was not properly refrigerated. My wife experienced symptoms of scombroid poisoning, which can occur when fish isn’t stored correctly and histamine builds up. She had vomiting and a headache shortly after we ate there — mild allergic reactions typical of this kind of issue. Since we can’t prove it for certain, we can only say we suspect it.
The seafood risotto looked great when it arrived, but that was just for show. The actual seafood in the dish was...
Read moreBeen here 2 times in 2021 and the food was tasty and the price very good, if we talk about portions and quality. Bougiourdi and the filled octopus was the best. Although, last summer when we went to eat in here again and we decided to stay at a table outside, because our baby was sleeping in the stroller, we wait for more than 15 minutes for someone to come and take us the order (it was early afternoon so the tavern was empty and we ask a lady for 3 times to come because we were starving). So, after another 20 minutes (maybe more), we received a portion of soup and some fries with squids that we could not eat. The lady who served us was rude and she didn't have time for us. Been here 2 times in 2023. I could not eat my risotto and the shnitzel was not fresh (I could not cut it with the knife). Also pasta with shrimps had a strange taste as it was cooked a week ago. A blonde waiter was drunked. We came here again and again just beacause Buiurdi was good cooked and our memories from...
