Dionysos Taverna On The Beach — Restaurant in Municipality of Southern Corfu

It’s a must to visit this tavernas! It was our first and last restaurant we went to while staying on Corfu island. We have tried few more, but Dionysos was something that we missed without a doubt. We and other customers were attended promptly as arrived in Taverna. Nobody was missed out or had to wait. Drinks and food was delivered fast as well as main course. We were impressed with the food quality as well, dorada is a must try! Fillet has no fishbones - excellent for kids! I have to mentioned that the owner - Mrs. A. Went an extra mile, and bought for M. - my daughter, an icecream from the next store, since she noticed that this is the type of icecream my daughter likes - 😅

Could not recommend this gorgeous Taverna more to anyone visiting Messongi beach area! The food was absolutely incredible and we dined here 4 times during our stay at a nearby resort where we were all inclusive, however we could not resist the food and service at Dionysos, so chose to come here each evening instead! As well as the food being so fresh, perfectly cooked and full of flavour, the best thing was the atmosphere created by the beautiful family who own this Taverna, Martina and Petros (apologies if misspelt!) were the most welcoming and hospitable people we have met on the island! I already cannot wait to visit Corfu again and come back to see their smiles and amazing sense of humour! We created so many amazing memories at this Taverna so thank you again! Jack, Mark...

Beautiful food, beautiful service and beautiful views.

We attended this taverna for lunch on our holiday to Corfu and were instantly hooked, so much so we chose to dine here a further three nights in a row rather than our already outstanding hotel restaurant.

Nothing is ever too much trouble for Matina and Petros who give world class service to all their guests. They are super friendly, welcoming and fun people to be hosted by.

The food is outstanding, particularly their steak. Everything is fresh, locally sourced and packed with flavour.
