It's a really bad service review but if you want some great cafe style food, I must say it's one of the best I've had. The food is really good if you can wait and if you can withstand bad service.
There was no clear instructions or signs at the entrance to indicate that the restuarant is divided into 2 areas. One seating area was meant for sit and order food while the other seating area was for to-go food. There was an order encounter right at the entrance and there was a long queue. We wanted to dine in. My friend joined the queue to order while I found a seat for us in the restaurant. When she reached the counter after a long wait, she was told that they can't take our order here and we needed to be seated by the hostess and a server will take our order. There was no hostess at the entrance to guide us in the first place else we wouldn't have wasted so much time queuing for nothing.
The whole service experience was horrible. The servers including the manager were rude, unfriendly, slow and kept forgetting our orders. Even when we asked for the bill, it took like 10-15 mins bcoz the waitress had totally forgotten about it. The food took rather long to arrive so it's not recommended for those who are rushing for flights.
The plating had restaurant standards that made the food appear appetitizing. But the food tasted much better than it looked and far exceeded our expectations. Even a simple greek yoghurt tasted unusually good with the mix of grains, dried fruits and honey drizzle. We also ordered the salmon with sour dough and eggs benedict with ham. The chefs had such a great job that were ruined by the bad service. And it's located at the departure lounge and left tourists like me having a bad impression of Athens as we ended our...
Read moreWe visited Ergon at Athens Airport in September 2025, and honestly, it was one of the worst dining experiences we’ve ever had — especially considering we were traveling and expected at least a decent meal. • The fish was terrible — it tasted old and unfresh, had a strong unpleasant smell, and was undercooked. • The kebab was dry, tough, and tasteless, and there were only four very small pieces. • The pizza was tiny and nothing special. • I ordered chicken, which came with vegetables and fries. I specifically asked to replace the vegetables and fries with yogurt, and the waiter agreed — but in the end, they charged us extra for the yogurt, which is unacceptable. • The service was extremely slow despite the restaurant not being busy. • And the prices are outrageous: we paid €70 for three very small portions — one chicken skewer, four small kebab pieces, and a tiny pizza — with nothing extra included!
For an airport restaurant, where travelers are already stressed and just want a good meal, this was extremely disappointing. The food quality, service, and value for money were all terrible.
I strongly do not recommend this place — if you’re traveling through Athens Airport, avoid this restaurant and look for...
Read moreUnfortunately I happened to stumble upon and enter this dreadful place, and decided on the “tabula” salad, or whatever this sin against humanity is called. First thing first, the taste was absolutely disgusting and repulsive and had an awful aftertaste. Mind you that I am a huge fan of salads - when they are edible. Secondly, fresh would be the last thing I could say about the “salad“ which also was the thing the cashier told me when I bought it as well as when I tried to replace it. Moreover, at the description of the “salad” it said it has tomatoes inside. Guess what? It didn’t. Very disappointing. Had to wash my mouth and buy something else to eat. I can assure you, it wasn’t in this store. Overall I absolutely recommend to avoid this place even if you are starving unless, of course, you are some kind of...
