The worst starbucks I have been to in my life. I asked for an ice matcha latte, and he asked me if I want it cold or hot, and I replied cold as it is an ice matcha latte. He took a paper cup, which was confusing to me because cold drinks go in the plastic cup. I asked him to use the plastic cup because I donāt like cold drinks from the paper one, and he replied okay. He gave me my matcha in the paper cup, to which I replied that I asked for the plastic cup, and he replied that that is the plastic cup. When I realizes he did a hot matcha, I told him I asked for an ice matcha. He started screaming, saying he asked me three times if I wanted a hot or cold one and that I replied three times that I wanted a hot one, not true of course, why would I do that. He started questioning what is my first language and saying that I donāt understand english, which is absolutely not true as itās the language I use every day. He of course wasnāt fluent and had a very low level of english, as he even thought that the paper cup is a plastic cup, so I found it very ridiculous that he was questioning my communication skills. Very arrogant, unprofessional, and slow person I have seen in a Starbucks in my life, and I go every day. The manager was present, and I said that I hope not all his employees are like that, to which he did not even reply. I do not...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreDuring my journey to Newark, New Jersey via Athens with Emirates, I had a pleasant surprise when I stumbled upon a Starbucks while heading to the departure area. Intrigued, I decided to indulge in a Caffe Mocha and paired it with a Spinach, Feta & Egg White Wrap. Both items exceeded my expectations.
The Caffe Mocha was rich and satisfying, with a perfect balance of espresso, chocolate, and steamed milk, topped with a dollop of creamy foam. It provided a delightful caffeine boost before my flight.
Accompanying the drink was the Spinach, Feta & Egg White Wrap, which was surprisingly delicious. The wrap was warm and flavorful, filled with fluffy egg whites, savory feta cheese, and nutritious spinach, all neatly enveloped in a soft tortilla.
The combination of the Caffe Mocha and the wrap made for a satisfying and convenient meal on the go. The experience at Starbucks added a touch of comfort and familiarity to my travel day, making it a memorable part...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI visited the Starbucks in the Athens International Airport on June 3, 2023 at 14:28PM and was treated with disrespect. I purchased a sandwich and a bottle of water. When I scanned my credit card and asked for a bag the Barista (Lioni) threw the receipt at me. When I inquired about the rude behavior, she ignored me, rolled her eyes, and moved on to the next customer. I'm not sure what prompted this behavior and was shocked at her actions. Interestingly, I visited this same store 20 minutes prior to rude interaction and the Barista (a different one) was so pleasant. I'm not sure if it was implicit bias against me as a woman of color, however, being rude to paying customers is unacceptable! I am a loyal Starbucks customer and admire the mission of the organization. Barista Lioni did not reflect the mission or values...
