Worth all the steps to get to the old town and we went to this lovely, family run bar each of the three evenings we were in Symi and also ate in the restaurants there, which we much preferred to the ones near the port. The bar is a great place to people watch, as the main pedestrian thoroughfare passes through the middle. It is frequented by locals, ex-pats and tourists and is the sort of place where you often get to talk to others. Lots of seating, including raised seating on the steps. A selection of meze is brought after your first drink, which is a nice touch. The drinks are good value and I admit that we over imbibed on one occasion! Read moreA really welcome respite if you're climbing to the castle ruins, it's almost 400 steps up to the cafe but the owner is very welcoming and the prices are reasonable. We bought a large beer and lemonade and received a complimentary range of dips for 6 euro.
