New favorite spot in Thessaloniki. I’ve been to this city many, many times now and this is now my go-to. Such an easy, relaxed atmosphere during the day, and a vibrant place that fills up at night. We came here four times and enjoyed trying new things and getting favorites over again. We tried: mushroom nuggets (fried oyster mushrooms), sautéed tempeh, potato croquettes, black eyed peas salad, green leaf salad, fava bean, eggplant dip, cheesy hot pot, tzatziki, as well as the vegan baileys. Our favorites were the fava bean and tempeh. The mushroom nuggets were great, but can get a little heavy with the oil and breading. The salads were fresh and tasty. The fava bean is the best we’ve had in Greece. I’d say pass on the potato croquettes, they were good but below everything else. The tzatziki is better than the dairy ones I remember before going vegan. The eggplant is good but again, not as good as everything else, and the baileys was good, but chunky? Not sure if they didn’t blend it well or if the oils in the plant milk got separated. My ONLY suggestion to this place would be to use less mustard or mustard oil on the tempeh. It’s a bit overpowering, but everything else with the tempeh was so good, I could ignore that part. It was tender and seasoned and cooked so well.
Highly, highly recommend. We will most certainly go back and buy everything on the menu once again. Service was impeccable as well and everyone was kind. Thank you to everyone that put up with seeing us every single day for...
Read moreToday was the second time I came to this amazing restaurant in two days. The food here is… wow!! I was blown away by the taste, portion size and cheap price. Yesterday I shared Greek salad with vegan feta (mouth watering and delectable), fava bean dip with crusty bread (flavour to die for), beetroot salad (yummy), mushroom nuggets (amazing, never had fried mushrooms like this) and the tastiest, most delectable lemon and thyme potatoes.
Today we shared the Greek salad and mushrooms again, whilst also opting for the bean salad (amazingly flavoured and filling) and the Greek dish Bougiourdi, which I have never had before but was extremely flavoursome and delicious.
The food in this restaurant is freshly prepared, healthy and delicious and extremely affordable. One of the best vegan eateries I’ve visited; particularly for variety and unique item availability as most vegan restaurants sell beyond burgers and other less healthy foods. I also loved the unapologetic vegan posters on the wall!
definitely check this place, we love you...
Read moreEvery single dish was amazing! Perfect blends of herbs and spices to make each dish flavorful. We ordered far too much because we were A) very hungry B) afraid to only order a dish each in case it was a small potion or we didn't like it. But I am glad we ordered so much, because we got to taste a good variety of what they offer and every dish was FANTASTIC! I don't like "hot" spicy food at all, so the Spetsofai was alllllmost too spicy for my taste, but I still couldn't quit scooping it up on the toast, because it was just so good. The potato croquettes were anything but just bland potato, I don't know what the blend of spices used was, but they were very flavorful and delicious! Seriously, if you're in Thessaloniki, do yourself a favor by going to...
