I gave Leonardo a second chance, and this time everything went well. The quality of their ice cream is undeniably excellent.
The first visit didn’t go as smoothly — likely due to a language barrier, which led to a misunderstanding. That happens.
What I found disappointing, however, was the way feedback was handled. The owner’s response to my earlier review (“Poor you. You are making a whole subject for 0.50€” etc.) came across as dismissive and completely missed the point I was trying to make. It wasn’t about the 50 cents — it was about not being understood at all. I’ve also noticed in other reviews that the owner tends to get defensive when criticism is given, often placing blame on the customer. That’s a missed opportunity to grow.
Still, I feel I left a fairly positive review overall — we all make mistakes, and it’s how we respond to them that counts.
A respectful and open response would definitely have earned a full star rating from me — because the ice cream truly...
