It was very busy with an international crowd of diners. The two service people were running around and managing lots of tables spread out all over the place. It was amazing watching them keep each table happy. The owner just stands at the top with the card machine. There were a whole bunch of cats with one continually trying to jump up on another table to get at some food. Whilst the people were eating. The woman was firm but kind to get the cat off, but after about 15 times had clearly had enough. None of the staff were bothered with some laughing as she shooed it away. Not my idea of a pleasant dining experience, and even the lady at the cst table was clearly getting annoyed. The food was so so. Nothing awful, but nothing great given the quality of other restaurants around it is amazing that this was so busy. Maybe we missed something. We had the aubergine dip to start which had zero flavour. No seasoning and even with garlic and peppers and aubergine it was just absolutely bland. Very unusual and a minor triumph by the chef to remove all the natural flavours. Prawn pasta which is usually a good choice was OK. Decent enough prawns but again no flavour to the pasta. Cheap olive oil maybe? Who knows, but I doubt we'd bother going back as there are way nicer places within walking distance. Oh, and we ended up on a table next to a couple who smoked continually. I know we're outside and it's accepted in Greece but their cigarettes were made of the most foul smelling tobacco it was just like sitting in a fug of horrible smoke. Off putting in a few ways so we rushed our meal and buggered off somewhere else...
Read moreThe food was mediocre at best, the pasta was dreadful, overcooked with a hard cheese that failed to work at all (and fried eggs only work if you leave the yolk runny not hard boiled...) the turkey 'chef special' looked and tasted like a hospital Christmas dinner and the risotto was drowning. Staff looked bored. The place was trying very hard to be up market but had nothing to offer other than an inflated price tag that is not competitive. There are far better options locally. Views are nice, it has...
Read moreCons: Charged extra for olive oil placed at our table without mentioning to us in advance; One main course wrong so they had to make the correct one which arrived when rest of the table was done; Different sides to the late main course than what we were informed; No compensation offered for the delay - just ‘we are sorry’; No locals eating here; Prices above average; Slow service. Pros: Nice view of the village from the terrasse; Food is nice (but not really better than what you get in...
