First visited last year just for a few drinks in the upstairs bar, loved the vibe and the friendly atmosphere. The chap who works upstairs is very friendly and has a great sense of humour. We returned this year for a drink and then we walked past the restaurant in the day and could smell them preparing the dishes for opening that night…it was enough to convince to eat there. First tip: go there hungry because portions are huge. We had the guitar burger and ribs between 3 of us. The burger was the juiciest and tastiest we’d ever had. The ribs were out of this world - I don’t know what the sauce is, but they should bottle and sell it. The salad and fries that accompany each dish are divine and the dressings just set them off perfectly. Big slap on the back to the chef, your food is superb! The lady who serves downstairs is so friendly and welcoming, as is the chap who works upstairs in the bar - he said Dutch ribs are something else and he wasn’t wrong! Read moreThe best ribs EVER!!! They are served with chips, dressed salad and two sauces that I hardly used as the ribs are already seasoned when cooked. Can honestly say they were sublime! Fell off the bone and the taste was superb! Highly recommended! We had the middle weight option and that was plenty!
