Tropicana — Restaurant in Municipality of Western Lesvos

We recently visited Tropicana in Anaxos, and it was one of the highlights of our trip to Greece! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with recommendations or special requests.

The food was absolutely delicious — everything we tried was fresh, full of flavor, and beautifully prepared. The traditional Greek dishes like moussaka, souvlaki, and Greek salad were some of the best we’ve ever had. The portions were generous, and the homemade desserts and local wine were a perfect finishing touch.

What really made Tropicana special was the atmosphere. It’s a cozy, relaxing place surrounded by greenery and flowers, with soft music and a warm, welcoming vibe. You can tell the owners and staff truly care about their guests and take pride in what they do.

My husband and I ate here on two occasions and had drinks here everyday for most days of our holiday. You can sit in the bar or on the beach and there are also sunbeds on the beach to use during the day. It also a great place sit and watch the sunset. The service was fantastic and the staff were warm, welcoming, chatty and friendly...we could not have asked for more.

My husband had Lamb Kelftico on the first occasion and Beef stifado the second time we ate, both were very good. As a vegetarian I had less choice, there was a pasta dish and i think Briam but I chose a couple of starters as a main, Pita bread, Tzatziki, Grilled halloumi and salad they were all fantastic.

Ας αρχίσουμε από το service..Περιμέναμε 10 λεπτά για να μας δώσουν σημασία.Νερο και σερβίτσια ήρθαν μετά από ένα τέταρτο.Δυο κυρίως πιάτα και μια σαλάτα έφτασαν στο τραπέζι μετά από 40 λεπτά.Αφου έγινε παρατήρηση στον σερβιτόρο για την καθυστέρηση ήρθε ο υπεύθυνος και αντί να ζητήσει συγνώμη ήθελε να μας πείσει ότι είναι λογική η ώρα ετοιμασίας φαγητού γιατί είναι μεγάλος ο χώρος εστίασης και δεν προλαβαίνουν. Στο κάτω κάτω ας προσλάβουν προσωπικό. Το φαγητο τίποτα το ιδιαίτερο.Η σαλάτα του σεφ είχε τόσο πολύ μαγιονέζα ώστε να μπορεί να καλύπτει όλο το μαραμένο μαρούλι.
