Cicero's bar — Restaurant in Municipality of Western Samos

I and my friend went to Cicero’s on September 1st to have drinks. After we sit and waited, no one showed up to ask our orders. There was only one person working in the bar who is responsible to get orders, prepare cocktails and service. So, we had to go to the bar and ordered. She was working nonstop and literally running to prepare drinks but the work load is above the amount one person can handle. Although she was doing her best, she could not prepare all orders in time. Unfortunately no other staff came to help although it was happy hour.

We got our drinks half an hour later. The cocktails were not prepared according to the recipe. Also, there was little alcohol inside. The glass was filled with ice. It was one of the worst cocktails i have ever had.

When we went to cashier for payment, we had to wait again in the queue for previous customers to pay. Strangely it took too long, the process was complicated. When it was our turn to pay, the staff told us the payment will be regular, not happy hour since happy hour time was passed. We explained that we ordered during happy hour but had to wait more than half hour. The staff’s reply was “You are always free go somewhere else instead of waiting”. We were surprised and my friend asked whether she is joking or not. She clearly said “No” and repeated “There are other places you can go”.

It was obvious that there is a management/system problem in Cicero’s bar. Also, there was not enough staff which causes low quality service. But the worse was the disrespectful attitude of the staff who is responsible was payments. She was arrogantly suggesting her customers to go to other places although the long waiting time was Cicero’s fault.
