This restaurant was recommended to us before we went to Parga so we gave it a go for dinner one night and were not disappointed. It is in a beautiful setting with amazing views. We were greeted by a very pleasant lady at the door who seated us in the bar area whilst they got a table ready for us, we hadn't booked and just happened to find ourselves up by the restaurant and thought we'd have to book for the following night but they had space for us which was a nice surprise. All of the waiters were helpful and answered all our questions about the menu and wine in a very informative manor. We weren't rushed at all. The starters we had were the Sea Bass Ceviche and the Beef Carpaccio - both of these dishes were amazing, really well presented and beautiful fresh ingredients with loads of flavour. For mains we had the Kleftiko lamb which is done in a pastry and the braised beef cheek fillet, again, both dishes were superb, perfectly cooked loads of flavour and very generous portions of meat. The waiter paired a very nice local wine to go with the meal too. There a nice little touches that they do as well like hot individual towels to wipe our hands on and nibbles with drinks, also the staff seem very observant about things without hoovering over you. We really couldn't fault our evening here and would say it is a definite to visit while you're in Parga. The cocktails are great too. The only very minor thing that we found was that we couldn't view the menu online before we went to see what the food was like but I don't think anyone would be disappointed and we felt that is was very reasonably priced for what we ate and the service...
Read moreGREAT NAME FOR A FAILED EXPERIENCE ! During my vacation in Parga, like many other tourists, I had Med Parga on my dining list, but I suggest you NOT TO GO! Apart from the service staff who were polite and professional, everything else was a bad experience, starting with the parking (15 minutes until I found a place and fixed the car), the girls at the entrance were some arrogant dolls who did not give an explanation about the reserved table. and guide you while talking on the phone with other people! The place was ok, not as beautiful and modern as it appears on social networks, but something average. Then the food was a real scandal, I think they wanted to make fancy food and experiment with products without knowing what flavors and dishes they want to offer, the only dish that was ok (not very good ) was the pasta with seafood! Anyway, in the end the price was the next scandal with a value of 200 euros for 4 people! It's ok to pay but you have to get service and quality and Med Parga had none of these! In conclusion, eat in the taverns of families and small local businesses, because you will find the best quality food and the true taste you are looking for...
Read moreWe arrived at 18:00 straight from the beach, wearing clothes and closed shoes, and there were many free tables. The friendly staff guided us to the front patio because the inside tables were reserved. It turned nice for us, because the view was still amazing and there was a breeze helping with the hot day.
For appetizers we ordered saganaki goat cheece from Hepirus with fig chutney, which was tasted strong with a slight crusty cover, and taboule salad was mixed with tomato pieces and zucchini strips with charoup base. For main we had spare ribs, marinated and with a strong crust, and were served with oven potatoes and 2 sauces. We also had stuffed squid with rice pine seeds and tomato sauce, cooked to the point that was stiff, but not chewy. In the end we were treated panacota with strawberry sauce, also fresh and smooth. Everything regarding the dishes, from plating to mixing and taste were top-notch, so Kudos to the team.
We are visiting Parga for 5-days for a second time in 2 years and we have tried multiple local and international cuisines. Apart from the lack of dedicated parking space, my wife and I agreed it was the best experience we had so far...
