My husband and I recently had our wedding at Fisilanis, and I don’t think I have the right words to describe how unbelievably kind, generous, and helpful Despoina and the entire staff were. My husband and I stayed in the hotel at Fisilanis in 2023 to get to know the area and the restaurant for our wedding, and to set a date with Fisilanis for the wedding. Even then, the food and atmosphere were incredible. I felt confident that our families would love it as much as we did, so we had them stay there for the wedding week. The staff at Fisilanis made everyone feel right at home. During that whole week, Fisilanis became the “home base” for our wedding, with guests who weren’t even staying there going frequently for food and drinks, oftentimes staying the whole day and eating there for breakfast lunch and dinner! Everyone loved it - it was hectic at times but Fisilanis handled it with incredible ease and patience. Our guests were from all different backgrounds including American, Greek, and Albanian and everyone had only kind words to say about the hotel, food, and experience. Even if you aren’t planning on hosting a wedding here, you should know that you are in the best hands for your vacation stay or even just a meal. Thank you Despoina for helping SO MUCH with planning, and to everyone at Fisilanis for providing us with not only the best night of our lives, but the best week of our lives. I personally can’t wait...
Read moreAs someone with coeliac disease (gluten intolerance), it's always nervous to eat at a new place as I don't know the processes in the kitchen or how seriously they will actually take my disease.
The staff at Fisilanis restaurant were lovely, although some were better informed than others when it came to gluten. I never got her name, but there was especially one woman who was superhelpful, always double-checked with the kitchen and made me feel very comfortable eating there (she’s the one in the purple dress and brown hair in one of the photos on their instagram account, haha).
My partner and I ate here many times during our stay in Paros and we always enjoyed the food. Their chickpeas on Sundays is absolutely delicious and I would recommend everybody to try it! Other than that we had both bbq meat, chicken and fish with salad and fries and it was all very tasty.
Their drinks are also good and both my partner and I loved the complimentary watermelon at the end of the meal (so much better than some of the desserts we got at other...
Read moreIm not a fussy eater. However, this was hands down one of the worst meals I've had in a very long time. It went hand in hand with the service. The staff don't seem interested at all in what they are doing. From the moment we arrived, we were not welcomed or greeted. Most importantly, the food. What a disappointment. You would think that a restaurant that has been around since the 60s would have love and passion for what they do, and it would reflect into the food. My meal looked like prison food. It tasted like they took it out of a can and microwaved it... The chicken was dry and tough and had no flavour at all. I was almost unable to even scratch at the food. After barely touching the meal, I get up to pay only then to see the kitchen and disorganisation in the restaurant itself. I wish I saw this first as I would have walked straight back out and found somewhere else to eat. 1 star - location is great,...
