Mango Restaurant — Restaurant in Paros Municipality

We were convinced to try this restaurant by a friendly staff member selling ice cream, who enthusiastically told us that all the pasta and dishes were made from scratch. She was very welcoming, and we were genuinely excited to try it.

However, the day we visited, we were seated in the middle of the floor and waited a very long time just to get menus. After half an hour, we had to ask if we could order drinks, and it took another 30 minutes for two beers to arrive. It took ages before we were able to order food, and the staff seemed completely uninterested in following up or taking our order.

The pasta was okay, but nothing special – definitely not the culinary experience we were hoping for. We were very disappointed by the lack of service and felt like we were a bother rather than welcome guests. The food is overpriced and does not reflect the...

Update…Amazing - it was my daughter’s bday and she wanted pizza so we went back…soooo glad we did. Paros pizza was an explosion of flavors that we could have eaten two. The pesto pasta was delicious as was the filet of chicken. Gelato was great but the star of dessert was the Broken Lemon Tart - just get it! So flavorful and bursting with lemon and the tart was fresh and crispy and light. The wine recommendation was spot on. Lemon spritz was the best of the ones we tried. Possibly the best Italian restaurant in Paros! The pasta is simply brilliant! Very good taste and ingredient quality at a great price and very good quantity. They are as tasty as other more expensive and well-known Italian restaurants with way bigger portions and better prices. To eat an equally well executed and tasty spaghetti I paid 13€ at Zakynthos and here at Mango it only costs 8.5€ and it is almost twice the size. Their pizza is equally great with very good ingredients and decent variety of tastes and kinds.
