Flora — Restaurant in Paros Municipality

Cute, family run spot nestled in the beautiful village of Lefkes. The setting is absolutely stunning, the panoramic view alone is worth the visit and is, without a doubt, the highlight of the experience. The tavern serves traditional, homemade Greek food with a focus on local flavors. Dishes come in very generous portions, so come hungry, there’s really no need to ask for bread!

Some plates were a bit on the heavy side, and while the flavors were generally enjoyable, a few lacked seasoning (especially salt). That said, it truly feels like a taste of Greek home cooking, bringing warmth and comfort to your palate. Service was friendly but quite slow, which can be understandable in a small family-run place—but something to keep in mind if you're short on time. The atmosphere is quaint and charming, though the space could definitely benefit from a bit of maintenance to fully match its surroundings. Overall, Flora Tavern offers a good experience, but not quite what we were expecting. Still, the breathtaking views and heartfelt cooking make it a memorable...

Beautiful setting, nice food, terrible service.

We came for our dinner as we loved the view and the setting. On arrival we were met with “I’m not sure we can find a table” attitude even tho the restaurant was 2/3 empty. The waitress with plaited hair was the worst, very unfriendly, rolled her eyes when we asked if the meals come with fries or anything. She said no, so we ordered French fries with our meals. Turns out, all the meals came with side dish!!! After about 20 minutes came french fries, but then you had to wait 30 mins for the main meals, by which time the fries were cold. We tried to order second round of drinks but were ignored. When we finally managed, the drinks never came. But were still charged!! The meals were tasty, particularly the rabbit. But the service was really poor, you felt like you were nuisance for being there. It spoiled our evening as we love Lefkes. The woman in particular was unpleasant, she didn’t even bother to reply when we said Good buy....

Επισκεφθήκαμε το μαγαζί πριν δύο μέρες με την οικογένεια μου και μια οικογένεια φίλων από το εξωτερικό για να δοκιμάσουν νέες ελληνικές γεύσεις και κυρίως μαγειρευτά φαγητά.

Η τοποθεσία του μαγαζιού είναι εξαιρετική, με μοναδική θέα. Ίσως η καλύτερη στο χωριό Λεύκες.

Το σέρβις πραγματικά αδιάφορο. Σίγουρα μη επαγγελματίες, χωρίς γνώσεις εστιατορικής και σίγουρα χωρίς γνώσεις ελληνικών εδεσμάτων.

Όσον αφορά το φαγητό... επιεικώς απαράδεκτο!! Η κυρά Φλώρα που ήρθε για την παραγγελία αρχικά ισχυρίστηκε ότι δεν υπήρχαν μερίδες από τα μαγειρευτά, στην συνέχεια όμως δια μαγείας κατάφερε να βρει μια μερίδα από όσα ήθελα να δοκιμάσουν οι φίλοι μου.

Κουνέλι στιφάδο με πατάτες τηγανητές, άνοστο, μικρή μερίδα και ούτε καν μπήκε στον κόπο να το σερβίρει με κρεμμυδάκια για στιφάδο ( εσαλότ ).

Κόκορας κρασάτος με ΠΑΤΑΤΕΣ ΤΗΓΑΝΗΤΕΣ θα τρελαθώ, στην χειρότερη ταβέρνα να πας στην Αθήνα θα το βγάλουν με λεπτό σπαγγέτι αν όχι χοντρό σπαγγέτι το οποίο αποτελεί κλασική και αναπόσπαστη επιλογή για τον κόκορα. Όσον αφορά τη σάλτσα του, μάλλον είχε τελειώσει και η κυρά Φλώρα άνοιξε μια σάλτσα κουτιού Pummaro και την πέταξε μέσα λίγο πριν μας το σερβίρει. Αυτή η σάλτσα αποκλείεται να είχε σιγοβράσει με τον κόκορα για τουλάχιστον δυο ( 2 ) ώρες που χρειάζεται το κρέας να μαλακώσει.

Απο της ώρας, πανσέτα χοιρινη σκληρή και καμμένη, κοτόπουλο παιδάκια στεγνά και όπως πολύ σωστά καταλάβατε και τα δύο πιάτα σερβιρίστηκαν με πατάτες τηγανητές. Κάτι που η κυρά Φλώρα δεν σκέφτηκε να μας ενημερώσει όταν παραγγείλαμε και δύο έξτρα μερίδες πατάτες τηγανητές.

Κολοκυθάκια τηγανητά που παραγγείλαμε και δεν ήρθαν ποτέ στο τραπέζι.

Τουλάχιστον χορτάσαμε από πατάτα τηγανητή, η χαρά των μικρών παιδιών.

Τέλος, όταν έκανα τα παράπονα μου για το φαγητό στην κυρά Φλώρα, εκείνη έφυγε νευριασμένη στο μαγαζί της και εγώ με ακόμα μεγαλύτερη απογοήτευση όταν είπε την φοβερή ατάκα "Τι είχατε πάρει από μαγειρευτά; Σουτζουκάκια δεν πήρατε;"

Τελευταίο τραπέζι, τελευταία παραγγελία και ούτε που θυμόταν τι μας είχε φέρει 10 λεπτά πριν.

Αυτά τα ολίγα, τρομακτική-υπέροχη θέα το μαγαζί, ελπίζω να αλλάξει άμεσα διεύθυνση γιατί από τα ψηλά της Πάρου, θα πιάσει πάτο στο Αιγαίο και σύντομα.

Bad, rude and slow service without any knowledge over the greek cuisine and the art of service.

The owner Flora who takes the order as well is very rude, not friendly or helpful at all.

Food quality low, tasteless, small portions and everything is being server with french fries. Unacceptable.

I am happy I wasn't with any of my grandmothers that night, they would feel so sorry for the greek cuisine as they always cook with love and respect.

This restaurant doesn't deserve a single penny...
