Read moreLove the beach and the resort. First time visited in 2004 but, as with everywhere, social media creates a more busy place than it should be. Had a lovely 13 nights in Skiathos spoilt only by the prices of sunbeds. Absolute theft in some places for what you get (Agis Pereskavi). The prices in Troulos were fair but what spoilt it was that every day, if you didn't get to the beach by 8.30 - 9.00am all the sunbeds were "reserved" by folk leaving towels on them then disappearing for hours. If you can't stay on the beach when you place a towel then you can't reserve the beds in my opinion. This behaviour is ruining beaches all over Greece and probably the world....
Read moreTroulos Beach is an absolutely beautiful beach. Many people claim that Koukounaries Beach is much better than Troulos Beach, but that doesn't stop this beach from being an absolute gem. I have never seen water as clear and blue as in the sea by the side of this beach, and the views over to the Greek mainland are just outstanding. There are plenty of sunbeds, which are priced at €4 per sunbed, but you can get a way with not paying this in quieter times, such as the late afternoon.
