A hidden gem in Skopelos and a must visit! We’ve been here for two months now and this is the most memorable meal during that time. The food was simply fantastic, well presented, perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. All the dishes we ordered were prepared with care and left us wanting for more. Fabulous Falafel, the baked feta was divine and had a kick, make sure to get some bread to get all the juice, the calamari was perfectly tender and crisply and light, the El Atrio Salad was very tasty and had a light yogurt dressing, and that was just the appetizers! For mains we ordered the Skopelos pork with prunes, perfect taste and good portion, a traditional must have dish, the Eggplant was prepared perfectly, and the hidden surprise was the Tsotsona pasta dish that was just bursting with flavor. We also got deserts including a Skopelos milk pie, resembling a traditional Skopelos cheese pie but tasted like deep fried Bougatsa, sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar, a Ravani with coconut and cream, super tasty, and also got a traditional Greek refrigerator cake made of cocoa, cream and cookies, super refreshing for the summer. The added plus is that the restaurant is located on the cool side of Skopelos town, on the opposite side of the harbor, so there is always a cool breeze and cooler temperature than in town. The staff were great and attentive. Congrats for great food, service, and ambiance. Highly...

After seven days on the beautiful island of Skopelos, one thing became undeniably clear: El Atrio gave us the most outstanding dining experience of our entire stay.
We visited several well-regarded restaurants across the island, including some of the most acclaimed venues in Skopelos Town. Yet none came close to the standard set by El Atrio.
From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the charming headwaiter, Mary, who—against all odds—managed to find us the perfect table.
Every dish was a delight: full of flavor, beautifully presented, and clearly prepared with love and intention. You could truly taste the soul of the kitchen in every bite.
The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff were attentive, friendly, and genuinely hospitable.
El Atrio is a true family-run gem. Kostas, the father of the family, is also the head chef—and his passion for food and hospitality is evident in every detail. Here, you’re treated not just as a customer, but as an honored guest.
As a family of four, we explored much of what this incredible island has to offer. Yet when I asked my daughter what she would remember most from the entire trip, her answer was instant: our evening at El Atrio. The rest of us couldn’t agree more.
Looking for a memory for life? Than don’t miss El Atrio...
Read moreI would like to share my experience from our visit to your restaurant in mid-August. My husband, our young child, and I came hoping to enjoy a pleasant meal during our holiday. I must acknowledge that the atmosphere of the restaurant was truly wonderful, with a stunning view that left us impressed.
However, unfortunately, our experience did not unfold as we had hoped. When our dishes arrived, we were quite disappointed with the quality of the food. The moussaka we ordered was clearly frozen and merely reheated, which was not what we expected from a restaurant of your caliber. What concerned us even more was the vegetable risotto we ordered for our child, which turned out to be spoiled. We were fortunate that I tasted it first before giving it to our child.
Although our waiter was very polite and did apologize, we would have expected that someone in charge or the chef would have come over to explain the situation and offer an apology. The only response we received was that the risotto was not charged on our bill, which, unfortunately, I do not consider sufficient for the situation. I hope that our experience can contribute to the improvement of your services so that future customers can fully enjoy their meal and the...
