Swell — Restaurant in Skopelos Municipality

We have just returned from a week at the Skopelos Village Hotel. The Swell Coffee Bar is on the road between the hotel and the harbour. It was the best find of our holiday, a really friendly lovely little bar. We called in most lunchtimes and evenings for a cooling beer and glass of rose! They always bought us a little snack with every drink, if you stayed here all day I don't think you would have to go out to eat! The people were really friendly and the place had a great atmosphere. The place is nice and the staff and the owner kind and friendly. I have tried the Affogato which was ok. Unfortunately, the espresso and the cappuccino where very bitter. The coffe tasted burned either from being to roasted and the extraction temperature too high or the coffe was over extracted. I tried it in 2 different days and it was the same problem. The second time I could not drink the cappuccino. This problem can be easily fixed...

Lovely relaxing little place day or night, everyone should visit the Swell. Sit by the sea or in the pretty garden. Staff are lovely and will make you welcome not to mention the gorgeous little dog who does the same.
