We spent some time on this island and I loved two restaurants only (we tried plenty). This is one of them. I admire the view and food is simple very very very good!!!!! My husband is Greek and we knew what to take and what is good food :) so I really enjoyed MOYSSAKA, KID WITH FRENCH FRIES (KATZIKAI МЕ ПАТАТЕ) the right would be not a “kid” but the baby goat and it is the must try dish (with lemon sauce). Cooked goats are the specialty of this island and you cannot find this dish on the land! French fries real potato thick cut! SOUTZOUKAKIA it is meat balls. BEEF STEAK it is as beef cutlets. I did not try SOUVLAKI here but it is not what you eat in this island ( opinion of greek family member and Greeks who know this island and live in mainland ). So leave giro and souvlaki for the mainland. This island can offer much more !!! AUBERGINE SALAD they make very good as well (this variety with garlic and roasted peppers 🫑 sometimes you can find it without). I truly enjoyed olive oil in this restaurant and Greek salad and my husband dad producing his own olive oil in Greece, so I know when I see a truly gem. MOUNTAIN GREENS is must try, they cook it very good! Bread is superb so be as Italian and dip in with their wonderful olive 🫒 oil !!!!! When we made our order most of the things of the menu were not available and we ordered octopus and lobster spaghetti. Octopus was delivered very fast and it was good, but after that we waited for 1 hour… when, after 45 minutes, I have asked about our order the waiter was bothered, we asked the second time and they have explained is that standard time for spaghetti lobster was 45 minutes… but nobody told us when we ordered. Read moreIt’s a very nice and clean place with friendly staff. The two stars are because we had the most disappointing lobster pasta we’ve ever had and the most disappointing reaction to this. They didn’t accept our complaint, we only had the 1/3 of a such an expensive meal mainly because it was so so hot, almost burnt, that it was impossible to eat. The lobster was dry (of course due to the heat) and after they removed the plate, the table was still burning hot (just imagine how hot it was)!
