On a recent trip to the beautiful island of Thassos, I had the pleasure of dining at athos Greek restaurant that left a lasting impression. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and a welcoming atmosphere that set the tone for an unforgettable dining experience. Food: Fresh and Flavorful The food at this restaurant was nothing short of spectacular. Every dish we ordered was a testament to the freshness and quality of the ingredients. The flavors were vibrant and authentic, transporting us straight to the heart of Greece. Starters: We began with a classic Greek salad and a plate of freshly baked bread accompanied by tzatziki. The salad was a delightful mix of crisp cucumbers, juicy tomatoes, tangy feta cheese, and briny olives, all drizzled with olive oil and a hint of oregano. The tzatziki was creamy and refreshing, with just the right amount of garlic and dill. Main Course: For the main course, we indulged in a perfectly grilled souvlaki and a hearty moussaka. The souvlaki was tender and flavorful, with a smoky char that enhanced the taste of the marinated meat. The moussaka, layered with eggplant, minced meat, and a rich béchamel sauce, was comfort food at its finest, each bite melting in our mouths. Dessert: To finish, we shared a piece of baklava, which was decadently sweet and flaky, with a generous filling of nuts and honey. It was the perfect ending to a perfect meal.
Service: Warm and Attentive What truly elevated our dining experience was the exceptional service. Our waiter was incredibly kind and attentive, making us feel like cherished guests. He was knowledgeable about the menu, offering excellent recommendations and answering our questions with enthusiasm. His genuine warmth and friendliness added a personal touch that made our visit even more special. Throughout the meal, he checked in on us just the right amount, ensuring we had everything we needed without being intrusive. His professionalism and courteous demeanor made a significant difference in our overall enjoyment of the evening. Ambiance: Cozy and Inviting The restaurant itself was cozy and inviting, with a traditional Greek decor that created a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. The combination of soft lighting, rustic wooden furniture, and beautiful sea views made for a delightful setting to enjoy our meal. Conclusion Dining at this Greek restaurant in Thassos was a highlight of our trip. The fresh and tasty food, coupled with the kindness and attentiveness of our waiter, made for an exceptional experience. If you find yourself on this picturesque island, do yourself a favor and visit this gem of a restaurant. You won't be disappointed! Thank...

One portion bread you ask to bring it only two pieces unbelievable the concept is terrible very poor concept. I told them already they said all this is like this blah blah nothing like that I’ve been many times since Taverna this place is terrible. The concept is no good never again come here. The meat was delicious, but everything else was awful. I have no problems with you personally. This is my first time coming and this is my last time coming.
I will also take legal action against you for the insults you stated in writing. Then you will have a better understanding of what I understood and what I did not. Furthermore, you have absolutely no right to insult the language I speak. First, clean up your stinking salads.
I had the exactly the same menu a 2 day ago Go learn Thassos Imperial Resort taverna go learn the concept your salad was stink. You’re treating human like I don’t wanna say very poor concept you’re paying €50 and you left still hungry? Unbelievable service place like this there shouldn’t be busy you don’t deserve it. We had much more food different place we paid the less money you awfully expensive. On the table was not any vinegar was not olive soil literally plate in a glass that’s it why you expect five star? I hope you never busy. You are very aggressive. I hear that the inside people were swearing. This is disgusting. The truth is, you're simply taking advantage of the island's large crowds. Because when people go out to eat, everything is packed at certain times. The venues have a set capacity. You offer whatever you want, saying they'll eat whatever we give them. That's all there is to it. You're just looking at the number of people who come. You're definitely not representing...
Read moreDO NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT! I am writing on behalf of our entire group! Very low level of service! We were a group of 12 people, 6 children, one of them a baby. We were seated at 8.30pm, as soon as we were seated we asked them to bring the baby's portion first, who was very hungry. After 30 minutes and nothing on the table, we asked the waiter again with the braid to check and bring the baby's portion, as we adults have no problem to wait.....but he super impolite again promised to check why the baby's portion is delayed. After another 20 minutes they brought bread and some of the adults food but not the baby who was roaring hungry and tired. We raised a hue and cry, how could they not be ashamed, the owner came, who is an embarrassment to the restaurateurs of Greece! And the waiter with the braid, with all his insolence said that he had forgotten to order /despite us reminding him and asking 4 times/ the baby's portion in the kitchen, but if we wanted and after waiting for over 1 hour, with all his insolence told us that if we wanted he could order the baby's portion now and it would be ready in 5 minutes!!! Run away, this restaurant is a disgrace and a disgrace to Greece! The only adequate waiter was Alexandra, who was the only one who apologized to us for the incident, but she was not serving us at all. They lost us forever with such attitude and outrage! Run away, we do NOT recommend...
