Smile Beach Bar — Restaurant in Thassos Municipality

We are a family who visited this place with our children. We don't bring food and drinks to the beach, and we order everything from the place where we are. We used the Smile beach bar and the restaurant for 3 days. The first day we had lunch at their place. The food is good, but it is prepared a little slowly. There are a lot of wasps, and they do not offer anything against them, as they do in other places (at least they did not offer us anything). On the second day we ordered drinks from them for the beach, but we decided to try the next restaurant for lunch so we went and sat there , the owner of Smile beach bar saw us and his attitude towards us immediately changed. On the first and second day the fee for an umbrella with 2 sun loungers was 10 euros, on the third day after we paid 10 euros in the morning, a little later the blonde lady came and told us that the price of 10 euros was until the previous day and from today it is already 15, so we have to pay her another 5 euros. Of course, we paid, but we did not return to them. The remaining 4 days we used the bar, which is right next to them. Dear Mr. Owner, you have a great place, a staff that works hard, but you don't have a good business approach. It would be good if you learn to recognize the good from the bad customers and improve your attitude towards people who would be happy to spent their money with...

Smile Beach Bar is an absolute gem! The beach is beautifully set up with comfortable sunbeds, natural shade from straw umbrellas, and a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. The water is crystal clear, the sand is soft, and everything is spotless.

What truly made our experience special was Carmen – a lovely Romanian woman with blonde hair and blue eyes, who greeted us with a warm smile and genuine hospitality. She took the time to explain everything about the island, the beach, and the bar menu, and her recommendations were spot on. Her kindness and professionalism made us feel instantly welcome and at ease.

The bar offers a great selection of cold drinks and cocktails, and the background music creates the perfect summer vibe – chill, but lively.

You need to pay 10 euros for 2 sunbed. The owner it's a scalper, he was very mean and doesn't care about the turists and how to draw them to his beach. Also the water here it's not so good (exception for persons who are with small childrens, the depth is very small and in steps). Maybe the experience wasn't ok, because in Greece the sunbeds where given for free and that you only had to buy something. But it seems that the scam in Romania has reached the shores of Greece :) ( the owner mentioned that he was in Roumania, and he saw this way of renting the sunbed and said to take advantage too, so, soon what we were running from in Romania will develop in...
