A Hidden Gem – Absolutely Perfect Day at Papu Beach

I had the most amazing experience today at Papu Beach – truly a hidden gem that deserves all the praise! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded expectations. The service was absolutely exceptional: warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Every member of the staff went out of their way to make sure we felt comfortable and well taken care of, without ever being intrusive.

The setting is stunning – wild and natural, yet carefully curated with a beautiful boho aesthetic that blends perfectly into the landscape. It’s a place where you instantly feel relaxed, like you’ve stepped into a peaceful oasis. The attention to detail in the décor is incredible, and there are countless Instagram-worthy spots throughout the beach area.

This beach is ideal for families, with a relaxed, safe, and peaceful atmosphere. There are both shaded and sunny areas, comfortable loungers, and a vibe that balances serenity with style.

Now let’s talk about the food – wow! I had the best grilled calamari I’ve ever eaten – fresh, tender, perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. Their signature Papu cocktail was a revelation – refreshing, balanced, and easily one of the best drinks I’ve had in a long time. The entire menu is thoughtfully designed, and it’s clear that great care goes into both the ingredients and presentation.

In short, Papu Beach is the kind of place you want to return to again and again. Whether you’re traveling with family, a group of friends, or just looking for a peaceful, beautiful spot to unwind, this place has it all: pristine setting, outstanding service, exquisite food, and a one-of-a-kind atmosphere.

I visited Papu Beach this June and I have to say—it’s absolutely amazing! The beach is beautiful, the atmosphere is calm and relaxing, and the service is outstanding. It’s the perfect place if you want to unwind in a peaceful, stylish setting.

The cost for two sunbeds is €40, and it's totally worth it. You can order food and drinks directly to your spot on the beach, which makes everything super convenient.

The water is crystal clear and shallow at the beginning, which makes it ideal even for kids or people who are not strong swimmers. The beach is clean, with soft sand and natural shade, and there are facilities like showers, changing rooms, and toilets (only available for beach bar customers).

What I tried from the menu:

Mpiftekia Grilled – delicious grilled beef patties served with baked potatoes and vegetables (€12.5)

Souvlaki Chicken – juicy chicken skewers with pita, tzatziki, and baked potatoes (€12)

Grilled Octopus – perfectly cooked and flavorful (€19)

Shrimps Saganaki – one of my favorites! Comes with a rich tomato and feta sauce (€19)

The overall vibe of the place is stylish but simple—wooden furniture, straw umbrellas, and a chill beach bar that fits beautifully with the natural surroundings. It never felt overcrowded or loud, just peaceful and classy.
