I recently had the pleasure of staying at Nefeli Fresh Hotel, and I can confidently say it was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had in Greece. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the staff, who went above and beyond to make sure we felt at home.
The hotel itself is modern, impeccably clean, and designed with a fresh, minimalistic aesthetic that creates a relaxing atmosphere. Our room was spacious, well-equipped, and had a lovely balcony where we could enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The outdoor pool was a highlight—crystal clear, well-maintained, and never too crowded, making it the perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring.
Location-wise, it's ideal! Just a short walk from the beach, where the water is calm and the sunsets are breathtaking. There are also great tavernas nearby where we enjoyed some of the best seafood on the island.
And I have to mention the breakfast—it was absolutely delicious! A great selection of fresh, high-quality ingredients, from pastries and fruit to local cheeses and cold cuts. Everything was beautifully presented and the perfect way to start the day. You can tell they put thought into offering something for every taste.
What truly sets Nefeli Fresh Hotel apart, though, is the hospitality. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, always ready with recommendations or just a friendly chat. They genuinely care about their guests, which made our stay feel extra special.
If you're looking for a peaceful, stylish, and welcoming place to stay in Thassos, I highly recommend this hotel. We’ll...
Read moreOur experience at Nefeli Fresh Hotel was far from ideal. Traveling alongside another couple, the difference in room quality became painfully obvious. Their accommodation was satisfactory, while ours had issues from day one.
Immediately upon arrival, we noticed our room had a distinct sewage smell, likely a plumbing oversight. Additionally, our AC was temperamental. Concerned, we promptly reported these problems to the owner on the very first day. Unfortunately, our concerns were largely dismissed. Moreover, his attitude towards us changed dramatically. The situation took a turn for the worse when the AC stopped working entirely two days before our departure. We also raised this with the owner's son, only to be met with a similar lack of urgency which led to us leaving a day early.
It's worth noting that the owner's wife was always polite, but despite that, there were no tangible efforts made to address our problems. Yes, we received apologies, but they felt empty given the ongoing issues and the absence of any real solutions.
On the brighter side, the hotel boasts a pleasant garden and the majority of the staff were genuinely friendly. That said, our experience underscores a troubling inconsistency in room quality and a concerning lack of proactive response when problems are flagged. PS: The pictures on their website suggest that every room has a shower head stand and a view to the garden. However, our room was overlooking the parking lot and had no...
Read moreMy boyfriend and I have spent a week at Nefeli Studio at the end of June 2015. The location was excelent: very-very close to the sea...let's say...about 30 meters or something. The garden is pretty cute, with a big palm tree in the middle and a lot of colourful flowers. We were given a room at the ground floor. The room was big enough, with a quitchinette we didn't use because we never cook in vacations (we just want to relax) and let's face it...it was pretty dirty and so was the vessel. we only used the fridge, it wasn' very clean but we kept there bottles of water and juice and packed food (cheese and youghurt for breakfast). The bathroom was clean but very small and water was spreading all around when taking a shower...that wasn't very nice. As for the owners, we only saw them few times, we haven't talked to them (just ''hello'' and a little smile) as we didn't have any problems or questions to ask them. |The studio is pretty decent and we haven't pay very much for the stay so i guess it was ok as it was in front of the sea. The sandy beach was at about 5 minutes of walking along the promenade, there were a lot of taverns and supermarkets at about 2 minutes of walking form Nefeli. If you're not very pretentious and you just want a place to sleep over the night, wake up, eat yout breakfast and the spend all your day discovering the beauty of Thassos island, i think Nefeli is a...
