Taverna Lykos — Restaurant in Thassos Municipality

I don’t get the rest of the reviews, only redeeming quality was the setting of the place (amazing location). Food was just mediocre for the most part, and then straight trash outside of that - one piece of the calamari was damn near raw, breading chunks were falling off of it, squid was charred and bitter on the charred parts (i.e. grill was dirty), and presentation was like something you’d make at home for yourself at 2am (which kind of explains the slightly cheaper prices I guess). Also had to wait like 20-30min for some fried zucchinis, then half of them weren’t even crispy lol

Service was alright, had to ask for condiments/ashtray but I don’t like to complain about the boys’ serving when they didn’t really do anything badly.

Other places around offer the same good parts, but without the bad, so I’m not sure why you would ever come here instead. If the prices were literally twice less than the other 20 restaurants within a 5-10min drive, then I wouldn’t even be...

Before I liked to come here, but now it is very bad service. We were 5 people /2 kids/ and I was waiting 1 table to stand so I can get it because it is near the sea. When they gone, the young waiter said that it is reserved... I asked if there is another table for 5 persons and he said nothing, it was obvious that I want table near the sea, there was another one and probably if I sit there he will said again that it is reserved, so I choose not to ruin my vacation and just go to the next restaurant 3 mins away with better reviews 😉 I will never come back and they loose so many clients because I am here from May till September and I have many guests which coming to see me during the summer and sometimes our company is over 20 people. A typical Greek fish tavern. I’ve been there twice and had the same order both times: salad and sardines.

The first time, the sardines were impeccable—some of the best I’ve ever had. They were extremely fresh and perfectly roasted. Unfortunately, the second time, the same dish fell below expectations, lacking the freshness and flavor I remembered.
