This is one of the best in the area and one of the very few in the category of “restaurant” and not just another “tavern”… the dishes combine in a very elegant way the traditional with the exquisite-modern! Service is great! The only thing that you should have in mind is that also follows the rational of a city restaurant in terms of prices (a couple of dishes are overpriced in my opinion and this is for sure not a place to have a low budget dinner - but it’s worth it if you decide to have something different in Zagoria) ! Do not hesitate to try any choice from the menu - everything will satisfy you (do not miss “pork tigania” and “meat balls with tomato sauce”)! Great restaurant in Dilofo, Zagoroxoria. Easy to find, just a few meters from the village entrance . It's a lovely place, with a distinct village aesthetic spanning 2 floors. Fireplace and stoves along with wood and stone. Nice menu options, even better daily specials. The staff was very friendly and polite and helped pick plates. I recommend the stuffed pork with cheese, if you find it, or the wild boar. Burrata salad was to my tasting. Wine was also very good, I was informed it is a local selection. Minus two for the tsipouro «kserosfyri » (without meze) Minus two for the lack of complimentary something at the end of the meal; a homemade dessert or drink or fruit …which both are cultural no nos, especially for Epirus. Otherwise the food is delicious as always and the setting lovely. I dislike the touristy Greece that forgets its values of honoring the guest; it’s not about free stuff- it’s about hospitality, gratitude, generosity, reciprocity…. I would have given 4-5 stars but then one should keep the 4-5 stars for the places that are as good as Lithos but...
