We were staying at a nearby hotel and noticed Bake and Coffees on our walks to and from Kalamaki town. We stopped for a coffee and are so glad we did. The coffee is strong and aromatic and what can I say about the pastries? The lemon croissant has to be tasted to be believed, as does the apple one, but best of all is the orange pie (especially when served with ice cream, if you’re feeling particularly indulgent): moist, full of flavour, and a great accompaniment to any cuppa. Bake and Coffees is hands down my favourite coffee spot on Zakynthos! I’ve been coming here every year since 2019, and it’s always my first stop when I arrive on the island.

They serve the best Freddo cappuccino I’ve ever had, along with the freshest orange juice, tasty biscuits 🍪, buttery croissants 🥐, and amazing waffles 🧇. Everything is fresh, delicious, and made with care.

The setting is just perfect—surrounded by olive trees 🫒, it’s the ideal place to relax, enjoy the sunshine, and watch the day go by. The owners are incredibly friendly and make you feel right at home.

Visited this small bakery and cafe every day for the past fortnight whilst on holiday. A lovely place to get breakfast, lunch or a cheeky beer on the way home from the pool or even early evening. Great selection of drinks, pasties, sandwiches and cakes. Lovely staff and service. Highly recommend. Definitely visit next time we are there. Thank you!!!
