Levante Taverna — Restaurant in Zakynthos Municipality

We came across this restaurant when we came to Alykanas in August and it was one off the best, food, service, staff, atmosphere and again so friendly from the Father to Tasis and his wife and sister and chef, also the man at the entrance, a great asset as getting lot's off customers in, I think we first walked in the second day off our holiday, the Levante opens at 12 till late, from that time we walked in we felt like family, so professional and so friendly, I had the tuna salad which was out off all the restaurant's this was the best 👌, Alan had the Chicken ala diavola with pepper sauce and enjoyed everybit off it, we came back many time's and enjoyed everytime, the Calamari was excellent, on one night Tasis made sure we had a romantic table 😍, The seafood pasta was amazing and shrimp sagnaki was delicious, I think I'll be here all night talking how great this restaurant is, we always got an extra glass off wine 🍷 and on last night they brought down a traditional dessert from Zakynthos which was lovely, thank you to you all such lovely people and we definitely feel like your family, Alan said to say hello 👋 to the chef that lived in Tallaght, we will look forward to seeing you all again...

Numerous trips to Alykanas and this by far is the best restaurant on the strip! The staff are so friendly and attentive, very polite and helpful also. Great choice of food with a large menu. I'm always a little wary of big menus but this place seems to deliver on everything we try. My partner always absolutely loves their beef stifado (says it's the just the best on the island!!) and I've had the salmon in white sauce which is absolutely delicious. Greek potatoes are always to die for! Great value for money, great service and an extra benefit if u have young kids there's (4+) a play area inside the restaurant so you can keep yours eyes on them. All in all, every time we come to Alykanas, this place always wins time...

The food was amazing!!!! We haven't stayed in the rooms, so I don't know. That's why I don't rate the rooms but the food I have no words to describe how delicious it was. Everything on the plates was so tasty and full of flavors. Enjoyed every bit of it. The serving was very polite and nice, and they recommended us the Meat Mezze for two, which had the right amount of portions from most of the well-known receipes around. If you come around here, you definitely must try this taverna because it will raise your bar in what to expect from a delicious meal. Even the plain rice was delicious and perfectly...
