Hooters — Restaurant in Guatemala City

Service was terrible. Was served old shrimp, i think they reheated a forgotten order. When I told the waitress she did not looked surprised, I think they were waiting to see if we would notice. Service was really slow. We ordered another pitcher of beer and she never brought it over. We even reminded another waitress of our order and they said they would bring it out. Never did. By this time our friend asked where our second order of beer was and they said they could no longer serve alcohol. Horrible, don’t go to this place. I wonder if they do this to overcharge you. I had an extremely disappointing experience at Hooters Guatemala City (Zona 10). After being seated, we waited 15 minutes without a single staff member approaching us. Menus were on the table, but no one came to take our order or even acknowledge our presence.

Meanwhile, the staff was gathered at the entrance, completely absorbed in their phones, paying zero attention to customers. It was unbelievable—no sense of urgency or care whatsoever.

After waiting long enough, we decided to leave. If this is their standard for service, I won’t be coming back. Definitely not...

Being honest, food is okay, not good not bad but okay. Its a bit pricey as you're paying for the waiter not really for great food. Service is lame, they always take a long time to get the food and even for simple stuff like refills or getting the bill. Tips are a MUST even though service is lame.
