For a brewpub they have a exceptionally poor selection of beers and our experience with the service was terrible. They have 10 different beers on tap - all quite generic. Asked for their "temporadas" and they only had 1 beer: the oktoberfest beer. We asked for the taster menu of 6 4oz beers on their menu - they did not offer it, nor offer any other 4oz beers, which was a part of their menu. Then we asked for their 4 beers offer in the menu, chose the beers, and then were told it was required that we had to order food with it (which was our intention to do later), so we could not get that either. My girlfriend asked for mineral sparkling water (also on their menu), they did not have that. We ended up with 2 12oz beers and a natural water.
I love beer and would like to taste many, but not full sized. The beers were below mediocre (W.A.P.A and honey blonde ale). Nobody asked anything after our micro order, and we ended up paying and leaving for a better place to drink.
The vibe was okay, good music and relaxed outdoor and indoor environment. Unfortunate we had that...
Read moreI'd like to give a higher rating, but the beer is simply not very high quality. I tried the Kolsch, the Roja, the Wapa, the Negra, the Belgian White, the blonde and the IPA. Frankly, there wasn't much to distinguish between them. Of them all, the stout was the most flavorful. The IPA was severely lacking in hops and all of them suffered from lack of front taste and aroma you should expect from fresh micro-brew.
Anybody coming from a craft brew area/country will find these to be tasteless, watered-down beers.
I also ordered a basket of spiced fries which are .....ok. Not much for the price (40Q) and the spice was, like the beer...bland.
The site itself is very nice and the staff prompt and helpful. They offer menus in English and Spanish.
Ultimately, beggars can't be choosers and this is one of the few options for craft beer in Guatemala. I'd say the quality of Antigua beer (you can find it in Antigua) is far superior.
This is a venue with tremendous potential, and I hope they keep working...
Read moreWe came here a Tuesday night and despite the fact that it was in the middle of the work week we had a great time, the ambiance was great and the service during our visit was even better.
Gerson and Edgar were or hosts and they took great care of us, not only by taking our order and bringing us the food and drinks we asked for but also explained to us a little bit of the Cadejo history (Great conversation) by the way.
This place is big, plenty of seating inside and also at their patio.
By the main entrance they have a lot of merchandise that you can bring home, including bottled beer 😉
We ordered a Tejana Burger, it was delicious and paired it with an Hija de Pooh beer and their Red Ale
We are definitely coming back Gracias 🙏🏽
