I had the opportunity to live here for a few months, and I must say it was a good experience. Fontabella is a gated community that offers a wide array of services, ranging from restaurants to shops. It's a safe, albeit small, area where one can stroll around and indulge in retail therapy. I came to Guatemala for business, and I needed to stay for long periods of time in the country. Initially, I was staying at a hotel while working abroad, but I eventually decided to rent an apartment in Guatemala City, finally opting for Fontabella, and the convenience and comfort of having my own space were unmatched; it includes different types of restaurants and shops, as well as other services, which I find it quite convenient. If you’re bored with bland hotel bars, particularly if you’re traveling on your own, this is a great place to eat/drink, either inside or outside, whilst watching a game - without having to worry about your safety.
