During our one-month stay at Apartamentos Reforma, Guatemala, they robbed us $500.00 in cash and a Christian Dior Sauvage perfume, the hotel claimed no responsibilty for the theft, they said to have only checked the security cameras and argued that during our absence when we left for three days to go to Monterrico Beach, no one had entered the apt, that is supposedly until the morning after we returned from the beach and went to breakfast the cleaning lady entered to clean the apt for the first time according to them for approximately 6 minutes to change our towels, which could not possibly be true for the following reason; this had to be her second time in the apt because on our return we found someone had entered the apt to clean while we had left everything untidy.
We never thought this would happen, we are very upset, we travel a lot to Guatemala and nothing similar has happened to us in other hotels in that same area which are more secure, beautiful and the price difference is very small.
I do not recommend this Hotel. In addition, there is a musty smell, they charge 4% extra for paying by...

Mixed: Offer laundry service, but it's a little pricey and some of clothes seem to have dust or dirt on them? (Just noticed as I got home). Had hot water 9 of the 10 days I was there, had to take an ice cold shower on the day I left.
Cons: Noise, the bus stops woke me up every single morning with incessant yelling for trying to get more people on the bus. Internet is super slow. Ran out of toilet paper in my room day 6... they didn't replace for two days so I just got my own (I didn't ask as I was out during their business hours and I kept forgetting, but the cleaning ladies were in my room and didn't restock). And by far the worst of all was... NO PARKING! "If you have your own vehicle you get a spot, but if you have a driver or a friend driving you everywhere, they can't park there." I can't understand this policy, as the lot was never even ever full. The room should come with a single parking spot, no...
