The first time going past and looking in I was immediately turned away by the high prices and bilingual menu: it appeared to surely be a place meant to prey on tourists and fresas.
Some time later, due to the late hour and my vegetarianism, I was left with little choice for the area and succumbed to ordering their portobello burger, and it came exactly as I would have assumed. Taking the to-go box (they were flagrantly disregarding any concept of sana distancia in the number of customers they were serving indoors) I was immediately suspect at how light it was, my suspicions again confirmed when I opened it.

The mushroom itself was not entirely tasteless, those couple of bites where it wasn't suffocated by the flavourless white bun, and at least the accompanying papas bravas were spicy with some seasoning to them. But at 60 Q the cumulative insult was no less stinging for those minor exceptions.
Spare yourself the disappointment (vegetarians, at least) and find some place else - right on the other side of the parque are passable pupusas at a fraction of the cost and several times...
Read moreAs other reviews have stated, the decor is really nice. The lemonade blended with ice and mint was also well balanced and one of the best that I hah in Xela. The food was very sub par and expensive for what you get. I honestly don't know why this place even bothers maintaining such a rich menu when everything that we sampled was done so poorly. The soup was nothing more than a heated canned soup, the "longaniza" on the nachos was a regular kids hot dog that you can find in the frozen section of your local supermarket and the portabello burger was tasteless. The price for the food tgat you get is outrageous so I would not recommend for anything other...
