Very bad service! This restaurant is terrible.
I walked in, all three women were watching shows on their phones. No one greeted me so I thought they were closed. But the sign said they're open so I went back in, still same cold reception. One of them motioned with their head for me to sit down. After I placed my order, the cook got up huffing and puffing and upset as if I was disturbing her from her show, although the restaurant was open. While she made the pizza, the other two women were still seated at one of the tables, loudly watching Bridgerton on a phone. After I finished eating, it took them about 5 minutes to remember I was there, though I was sitting close to them, and take the plate away. The bill included an automatic 10% tip. I realized that that might be part of why the service was so bad. Whether they are good or not, they get automatic tips. After I asked whether the tip was automatic and became annoyed since I didn't plan to tip them, the woman removed the tip.
The worst service I've ever received and I've been to many restaurants in other continents and the US.
The pizza was okay but was completely overshadowed by the terrible service. I'll never forget this terrible restaurant. #1 on my list for bad service. And no, I'm not...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at a small restaurant in San Juan, Guatemala run by a talented chef and his loving mother. They specialize in pizzas, risottos, and pasta, and I can honestly say that every dish we tried was absolutely delicious. The ambiance of the restaurant was warm and inviting, with cozy, intimate seating and a welcoming atmosphere. The chef and his mother were both incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure that our experience was nothing short of perfect. We had the margherita pizza for lunch and it was so delicious that we came back to the restaurant for dinner to sample some other items on the menu. The risotto was also fantastic, with the perfect amount of creaminess and a wonderful mix of ingredients. Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for delicious Italian food in Guatemala. The combination of amazing food, friendly service, and a cozy atmosphere make it the perfect spot to sit...
Read moreWe are here in December and choose this restaurant as we love the breathtaking view and food at Gato Perdido in San Pedro. It’s the best restaurant in town! The location of this Gato Perdido was super cute. It’s a little out of the center with a beautiful garden full of plants and fresh herbs. Loved the details with all the LP’s and little signs that says “Beer is like water for happy people”. It made me laugh. The people working there are amazing, the service perfect and the owner, Jose Luise is a very charismatic gentleman. He made us laugh with his stories. We didn’t know what dish to order so ordered different dishes which we shared. We were so happy we did as everything was so delicious. The pizza’s and burger are the best I have eaten around the lake and we were fighting over the artichoke dip. I would strongly suggest to eat here when you...
