Don’t waste your money on a guide for Indian Nose hike, this is a really fun 1.5 hour hike you should do yourself. We arrived at trailhead at 4:30am (although would recommend getting there at 4:00am) and did not need to pay the G30pp entry fee which is applicable during day. At the top we had to pay G50pp to get to the viewpoint. At the trailhead we were greeted by a friendly wild dog who literally led us the whole way to the top which was cool (others said they had the same experience with a dog). Bring a torch, paths were easy to follow (recommend following the trail on AllTrails app) and pack some breakfast / thermas of coffee to enjoy at the top during sunrise - happy days! Don’t be scared off by the blogs which say this hike isn’t safe (from people who haven’t actually done the trail personally). We walked 15min from our accommodation to the trailhead and felt completely safe (barely...

So the first time we went I did this climb and I didn’t like it because I’m not really fond of walking uphill. I was literally catching my breath and it’s about 20 to 30 minutes. The second time we went I just let my friends do it and I just stayed in the bottom. Lol. So yes, this is a must go to spot in San Juan La Laguna. The view is really nice from up there. They have several stores on the way up if you need some refreshers or souvenirs they also have like their traditional band on the top, you can give them tip and take pictures with them, but it’s smaller than I expected, but still though it’s...

Ok if you are hiking up to the Indian Nose Viewpoint from here be warned it is extremely difficult with almost 4km of incline. The track is not maintained at all and there are no signs anywhere where you come to the junction points. Best to download maps.me before you go. We paid 30q per person to enter and guess what!!!!!!When we reached the Indian Nose we were asked to pay another 50q per person. So the 30q you initially pay at the entrance does not allow entry to the Indian nose. It took us 4 hours to reach the top and come down to the little town of Santa Clara with...
