Service was stellar by Stephen, he was extremely knowledgeable about all the meals/virundhu options and was very attentive throughout our luncheon. We had the Mutton Biriyani Virundu & Fish Virundu which costed around 600 & 500 respectively. Ordered mutton kola urundai separately (boneless mutton meatballs) at Rs. 200 for 3 no.s. Spent around Rs. 1500 in total. Worth every single rupee. It is unbelievably rare when a restaurant (which is not a 4 or 5 star joint) attains perfection in all areas. The staff, service, food, variety, taste, cleanliness, attention, seating, bathrooms etc. were all on point. Mutton biriyani Virundu - Biriyani, Chilli Chicken, Chilli fish, Mutton Chops, Boiled Egg, Plain rice, Naatu Chicken Soup, Veg Gravy, Payasam Fish Virundu - Rice, 3 types veg poriyal, Seer fish(Vanjaram) curry, Anchovy (Nethili) fry, chilli fish, Naatu Chicken Soup, Veg Gravy, Payasam We visited at around 1:00 PM on a Tuesday, were seated immediately & finished eating in around 40 mins. Were offered free coke & pan at the end of the meal. PS : Virundu = feast, Ofcourse it's not advisable to have such exorbitantly rich food every day, moderation is key so kindly practice it accordingly.

Haribavanam Restaurant is a culinary delight in Coimbatore, serving up authentic South Indian cuisine in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The moment you step in, you're greeted with the aroma of fresh dosa batter and the sound of sizzling idlis on the griddle. The menu boasts an impressive array of traditional dishes, from fluffy idlis and crispy dosas to flavorful sambar and rasam, all made with love and care using only the freshest ingredients. The service is prompt and attentive, with friendly staff happy to recommend their signature dishes. With its delicious food, cozy ambiance, and reasonable prices, Haribavanam Restaurant is a must-visit for anyone craving a taste of authentic South Indian cuisine in Coimbatore.

Wish I could give Haribhavanan a 5 star rating, if only 1) Had they given a Nattukozhi soup with little less salt and when asked have had replaced with same instead of Mutton soup 2) Had given mutton chukka little warm and with spice instead of a cold semi gravy dish. 3) Had taken orders for kebabs properly or informed us prior instead of saying they have an alternate Hariyali kebab that too only a single plate after 15 minutes. Sorry, we are paying and you are not running a charity. 4) Had courtesy to understand customer complaints and provide a solution. Well none of the above happened...wouldn't be recommending to anyone unless things improve. 5) Only saving grace for our group was "paarai meen" dish. Could give that a 3.5 stars. Plus *interiors and ambience is great * Menu options are innumerable *Parking is decent Minus * Taste and qty of dishes *Prices are super high when compared to similar hotels * Waiters are not knowledgeable about dishes * Customer service could be improved overall 21/10/2019 Thanks Mr. Rajesh for taking so much effort and time to call and understand the issues. Your personal attention for customer satisfaction will take you places. Appreciate it. Will visit your hotel again... Thanks again.

We visited the new renovated Haribhavan after a long time... We went for Sunday lunch but couldn't get a table so decided to have dinner... But for my surprise many times were not available that too Sunday, lollypop was not available, Barbeque chicken and HB Pot chicken...My mind was eduvuma illana apparom edhathan order pannaradu... So we decided to give barbeque fish a try. It was cooked well but not soft, the one we had n anjappar Chennai was so soft & even the quantity was full fish.. but here we got half fish... Tastes okay nothing great... Later we had Ceylon parota, chicken manchurian and noodles dosa... We felt the server was not that adequate to explain when we ask for the ingredients and taste of certain dishes. Finally came to dessert aduvum nanga ketadhu eduvume illa... We asked for caramel pudding aduvum illa, brownie earth quake aduvum illa...rama yenda vadomnu aiyuruchu... Better to avoid this branch, other branches are okay i guess. They have some puddings in the display but couldn't find that in the menu... Guess the manager of owner can look into this... Finally i missed the old Haribhavan...

Good restaurant with average taste and nice ambiance. Need to improve on the quantity and taste of the items. Too many waiters inside standing and staring while we are eating, though it is good that a waiter is nearby but having 4,5 guys in front of you while you eat is not a nice situation. Had bun porotta, coin porotta, non veg meals, mutton, chicken and fish. The only thing worth mentioning was the Mutton. Service is good, nice ambiance, neat and clean but taste is not worth the price you pay. Adequate parking is available for bikes and cars also. Edit: went second time. This time all the dishes were good. Tried chicken 64, mutton chals, mutton nelli, fish 65, chicken biryani etc. All were good

It was a nice experience... Ambience is good after renovation... Parking is limited but there is space in d main roads... They have a big dining area in ground floor & a limited dining area in d first floor which can be used maybe for private dining with prior booking... I am a regular fan of hari bhavanam since my childhood... I had visited here for lunch during a weekday... Tried their traditional mutton biriyani which was a little spicy... Also tried prawn gravy which was of good taste with a medium sized prawns in it... Then tried their kola urandai which was a plate of 4 pieces & tasted good... Finally we tried their bbq fish which was big enough for 2 ppl but I didn't like d taste of it...
